Going up 3 flights of stairs no lift with two dogs and a disabled wife

No complaints from me

The only bad side was the hotel doesn't offer a breakfast

I'm a light sleeper so probably ok for most but the floors we're creaky to me with people coming and going stayed on a Friday so late comings and goings but expected it

Cleaning could off done with a bit more attention. decor needed a bit off TLC.

Dirty, mattress was as flat as a pancake, noisy, no electric socket near the kettle, we had to put the kettle on the floor next to the wardrobe, very unsafe. The window latch was broken. Would not stay again!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

The beds were really uncomfortable, pictures of rooms are misleading. Unfortunately the building means you can hear every sound from floors above or on the same floor. We woke at 6am and couldn’t wait to check out and leave.

Other visitors were smoking weed and it filled our room with the smell which wasnt pleasant but that is not the hotel fault. The tv played up a lot with signal issues luckily had my phone and took a while for the water tap to work but was fine when it did.

The curtains are rubbish they need thicker curtains up that actually fit and close. Theres no staff on through the night which was a problem because the couple staying in the next room were arguing and shouting and smashing the furniture up it was going till 3am,the floorboards above need doing they were loud when people were walking about. We stayed Friday to the Monday and only Sunday was a good sleep.Its a shame as the owners are nice people.

Room not ready, no towels or toilet paper.
Asked reception to put some in the room while we were out, only brought towels.
Gave us keys that didn't fit the front door so we were locked out, went around the back and the door had been left unlocked.
Other guests came in late, drunk and noisy.
We barley slept.
Next morning there was what looked like a broken picture in the passage and empty food containers.
I would describe the room as grimy, bare minimum cleaning.
I didn't take photos but should have.
We left just after 8.00

The room was tiny, our bed was held up by extra wood and was still extremely wobbly , the wooden floors and furniture made the place so so noisy.

They new arrival time nobody about had to make phone calls 15 minuets later person turned up gave us a key said it was there day of , door lock was loose ,smell of cannabis in upstairs corridor, wifi didn't work

AVOID - BEDBUGS!!!! I booked this on behalf of my sister and fiancé as they were attending a local event nearby to join friends.
Unfortunately the room reserved for them was a whole safety risk resorting in them having to leave on return from there evening event at 1am in the morning with nowhere to stay. The bedding had BEDBUGS and their feces on. Soiled bedding. Mould on the wall creating harmful spores and MORE. We have full photographic evidence of this. (I currently hold one of the images)
There was no original high expectations other than a clean safe hygienic room to stay in, however my sister then had to find another hotel room and to also pay full cost. We are yet to receive full refunds and communication. Booking are aware yet they have ended communication!!!

Where do I start? Reception was obviously part of the owners sitting area as empty cups were laying around and children’s toys.

The shower was pointless, there was not heating it was cold and no plug points anywhere
