Convenient, comfortable, no frills
Pros:

Convenient, comfortable, no frills. Close to a good pizzeria. Smooth auto check-in. Just what we needed for a hop-in into Sicily from Malta. I had great communication with Eugenio.

Cons:

Access into the town is not pedestrian friendly. Understandable, since this is a motel.

Cheap and cheerful
Pros:

Prior to arriving, it was a bit of a shambles - you have to submit your details on line and then they promise to send you the code to a key box on the gate post that contains a fob that will open the security gate, the door into the motel and your room. However, despite chasing, this information never came and we arrived at the gate unable to enter. After phoning a number, a chap arrived after about 20 minutes and let us in, but also explained that the electrical power supply to the hotel was down, albeit expected to on again late afternoon - but nothing worked.

Once the power was back on and we had our key fob, things started to look a lot better. The accommodation is motel standard, but it was clean, functional, had everything that you would need including a comfortable bed and bathroom and room a/c.

The chap on site was very apologetic and did his best to offset the issues.

A simple self-service breakfast was available from 5am which was quite adequate.

Under the circumstances, I would have been happy to pay the Booking.com price, but out of the blue the chap on site gave us a €20 discount for the problems, which was appreciated.

Under normal circumstances, this would be a perfectly acceptable place to stay - we needed somewhere to overnight before catching the early ferry to Malta - it is not luxury, but it is also very cheap - if that is what you want, it’s perfect.

Great motel
Pros:

Great staff, very helpful. Clean room, one of the two wifis works (same password).

Cons:

Its a motel, foot access to town is not so great

The room was pleasant the bad comfortable a very nice experience

The room was ok working ac television. Hot water and good water press

Cons:

The breakfast can be improved, by having a better choice of good like cold cuts, the facility to make a toast every a simple hamm and cheese. The veraity of food was too limited to much biscuits and other sweet / sugary pastries
