Skyview Hotel - 21 & Over Pool

Met with friends for a weekend away. We love staying here! Comfortable, clean, adorable rooms. The most attentive and friendly staff. Seriously, this place never disappoints. We love Skyview!

We got there before check-in but they accommodated us nicely.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Views are stunning and the rooms are pretty comfortable. Only thing I’d recommend is to have better lights in the room. My wife was really having hard time putting in makeup as the lights are pretty dim. Otherwise if that’s not a problem for you, just go! Walkable to town, you can burrow a bike for free and ride to town. The pool is nice and the drinks are great.

Fun inviting retro hotel near to wineries. Excellent Norman restaurant, great food, cocktails, staff and poolside service. Well curated rooms and music plays through the property. Nicely done! Time for one night and stayed two. Will be back!

SkyView is a great overall higher end “motel”. It has everything you need for a wine country getaway!

Pool area and courtyard was so nice. Perfect little oasis. Staff was all amazing too!

The property is lovely. The pool and deck are amazing! The only issue I had was there was no bathtub, only a shower. But that is just a preference. Otherwise this place is just wonderful. We has a great time. It is a pleasant surprise up on the hill. We hope to go back soon!!!

This place is a gem along the 101! Traveling from northern CA to Santa Barbara for a graduation and stayed here 1 night before picking up family at the SB airport the next day. It sits high atop the hill with a view in all directions and, with the adorable retro vibe, feels literally removed from every day life. I just wish I could have stayed a few more nights. I didn't get to eat in the restaurant...just know it isn't open until noon on weekdays but 10 on weekends. Very cute pool area too. My room was clean and cozy. I thought the cars on the 101 would keep me awake but nope, perfectly quiet all night and in the morning. Sat on the deck by the lobby for a tea before I checked out. This place just feels special. :)

There was no cell service or WiFi and I was unable to do any work.

Very cool staycation.

Disappointing experience. The property has the right ambiance and location to make it a great hotel, but it lacks proper management. The hotel is understaffed, and the receptionist has to drive people up and down from the parking area while others guests are waiting. The room and bathroom are not clean with stained shower door and mirror, sticky floors and snack bar (which also only offers hard liquor options, no wine, and if you like drinking coffee, you will find exactly one single coffee pod provided for your stay lol). The patio “view” includes a bush, a piece of highway that runs the whole night, and some trash boxes along the back wall of the hotel. However, the loungers on the patio are so dirty that you wouldn't be able to lay down and enjoy the view had there even been any. The pool was nice and well heated, but they ran out of towels. By the way, you only get one full sized towel for your stay (and one shower mat per room), so you need to reuse it. The receptionist in the morning lacked any sort of interest in guests, forget about hospitality. The worst part of the whole experience was the restaurant. It had great ambiance, decent food, and absolutely atrocious, rude customer service. Made the perfect ending to the overall unwelcoming experience here. We won’t be coming back and don’t recommend this place to anyone.

The property itself was great. Super clean with nice amenities. We were disappointed with service to the room. They did not make the bed, replenish water or coffee or take the dirty dishes. The only refresh to the room was in the bathroom. We were also extremely disappointed to have lukewarm showers the first morning and cold shower the second morning.
