Good for solo travelers and nice cabana on the edge of Arugam Bay
Pros:

Really recommended for solo travelers, host are very helpful and staff always smiling and welcoming. A nice cabana it was very quiet and relaxed there. Of course could arrange everything. Ansa surf teacher very professional and very kind 🫶 very good place stay to Arugambay here.

Cons:

Even for a budget option in Arugum, the facilities are really crappy. I never received a bed sheet or towel. The staff was hardly ever there (and they speak little English) so it was difficult to get questions answered. WiFi never worked and the mosquito net had a fair share of holes in it

This is the best place in Arugambay for solo travelers
Pros:

This hotel felt like a natural home away from home. I was so impressed with the level of comfort and attention to detail staff was so friendly and i booked some surf lessons with them it was amazing , My stay was perfect.

Delighful week stay. Great location but quiet. Recommend
Pros:

Close to beach & shops but at the quiet end of the beach so peaceful. Loved the garden lit up by fairy lights at night. Staff are genuine & nice. Wonderful to have use of shared kitchen, especially a fridge & kettle but you can cook here too, I think perhaps the only place in Arugum to have this.

Great surf camp, would definitely stay again, The hospitality was amazing also
Pros:

I don't think a day didn't go by where I wasn't offered a coconut while I was hanging out in a hammock or I wasn't delivered a coconut to my room if I was inside taking it easy. Feinas and Ansar were really helpful when it came to organising everything like a safari, adding extra surf lessons, even just great recommendations for places to grab a few drinks. They were very attentive, always asking if I needed anything.
The food was absolutely fantastic - delicious and the portion sizes were exactly what you need when surfing.
Sulfi was a great instructor, he had great tips but balanced teaching well with just letting you surf.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. And the Sri Lankan breakfasts are fantastic, we got a surf lessons very fun and highly recommended. Would definitely stay again.”

Very relaxing, peaceful accommodation in the heart of Arugambay.
Pros:

The accommodation was perfect location just a short walk to the beach and all the main shops. The bed was comfortable and free tea and coffee and water. The outside area was always clean and tidy with relaxing music on which made the place a completely tranquil environment. Overall stay was very relaxing, even extended my stay.

Pros:

Lovely bungalows few steps from the sea with nice communal areas to relax! The location is perfect as it is close to the beach and restaurants, but away from the noise of Arugam bay's centre!
The staff is just wonderful, full of genuine smiles! Definitely recommended :)

It’s like a home ✌️
Pros:

Amazing place in Arugambay because it’s a very quiet and relaxing . Other places everyday night party so we can’t sleep there. I was highly recommended this place to stay your vacation. The owner Abdull always helping mind and smiling and helpful staff .
