Beautiful hotel - inside and out
Pros:

Beautiful hotel - rooms are modern, clean and spacious. Outside is stunning, pool and gardens are lovely, and the views out to the fort are unrivalled.

Cons:

Now the path direct t the fort has been shut off, you have to walk around. Not the prettiest walk but safe nonetheless.

A quieter alternative to staying within the old fort .. panoramic views , with a focus on design but still blending in w

Striking ,modern and very comfortable accommodation outside the fort area.. so you’ll have the outdoor space and use of a very nice pool and lawns to relax and enjoy the view of the fort and stunning sun sets.. a quieter ambiance than staying within the walls.
Excellent,helpful staff .. Chathuranga making the amazing towel animals when servicing the rooms .. a very clean hotel throughout .. the restaurant serving excellent food with such friendly and dedicated service in my experience from Anjalee.Dilshan and Susantha .. Reception staff helpful too ..Sachila and Sadew always ready with local information and tips.But all the staff were very keen to contribute to an excellent guest experience.

Cons:

Hotel does cater for some group travel and they seem to take over whenever they all appear whether it be the pool or the restaurant..but as a positive reflection the staff managed to smile through it all.
Also the high tech toilet in my room seemed to have a mind of its own.. it didn’t overly concern me ,infect I found it quite amusing .. not sure what it might do next .

בית מלון יוקרתי. החדר ענק עיצוב מודרני ונעים. חדר רחצה מפנק כולל אמבטיה משגעת ואסלה יפנית. צוות עובדים לבבי ומועיל. האוכל היה מגוון, טעים ובשפע. מחיר הארוחות הוגן ולא מופרז (למרות שהיו ארוחות גורמה) המסאג' היה נפלא. שירותי הכביסה מצויינים. הנוף- יפיפה ומרגיע

Fantastic relaxing stay
Pros:

The room was stunning, with incredible views out to sea. The pool area was very relaxing and the location of the hotel was brilliant very close to the fort area. The staff were incredibly friendly and very attentive

Cons:

I think the pool didn’t need to be heated. If it wasn’t it would have been more refreshing.

That review is for Hotel 81 which I booked 1 month back.


The Changi Cove was a great place, excellent staff and gave me free extended check out time. Also, the breakfast was excellent. 


My apologies for mixing two hotels.
