Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.
For check in purpose, the guest can check in from 2PM until 6AM in the next morning.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Mostly good.
Pros:

Lovely welcoming staff. Good location. Excellent eateries nearby. Big room. Quiet on the third floor with a great view. Scooter hire available.

Cons:

Rubbish air-con. Marked down because of this.
Although staff did improve it after I complained.
Room a little tired.

Passable place with hole on the floor
Pros:

The location of the hotel is within walking distance from several places - Concubine lane will be within 10min walking.

Cons:

There was a whole on the wooden floor, the lobby has a weird mold smell and the hotel a night looks a bit sketchy.

Sensibles au bruit s'abstenir
Pros:

La chambre est spacieuse. Si problème, comme j'ai eu avec une fuite d'eau dans salle de bain, le personnel s'efforce de réparer dès que possible. Il y a un ascenseur donc avoir sa chambre au 3eme étage n'est pas rebutant.

Cons:

Le bruit de la rue, de la clim, de la tuyauterie est insupportable .

Für eine Nacht in Ordnung. Sehr gute Lage, Preis/Leistung passt, Check-in mitten in der Nacht hat problemlos geklappt und ich durfte nach Check-out meine Sachen dort lagern

Cons:

Keine Klimaanlage im Dorm, Leiter zum oberen Bett war sehr schwierig rauf - und vor allem runter zu kommen, Hostel allgemein nicht besonders schön (dafür halt günstig)

Serious Security Issue - Unidentified Person Slept in Our Dorm

I cannot rate this hostel any higher due to a major security incident. During my stay, an unidentified man entered our dormitory at night and slept in an empty bed. No staff knew who he was. We only discovered this in the morning, and it was deeply unsettling. The fact that anyone can just wander in and sleep is frightening. I no longer felt safe for the rest of my trip. Management was informed but seemed unsure how to prevent it. I cannot recommend this place if you value your safety and peace of mind.
