Pros:

Beautiful location and fantastic modern facility. All the staff were brilliant, especially at the restaurant and looked after us

Cons:

Lack of hotel info in room, no milk with drink making facilities, food portions are small which may disappoint some. The pillows are huge and square and were uncomfortable

Sehr schönes Hotel aber hier zahlt man den Golfplatz und die Lage mit.
Pros:

Tolle Lage, zu Fuß 10min über den Golfplatz zu einem tollen 7 Meilen langen Strand. Sehr schönes großes Zimmer mit Klasse Bad, begehbare Dusche und Extra Badewanne. Alles sehr sauber, Hotelpersonal sehr nett. Parkplätze vorhanden.

Cons:

Bar und Restaurant leider übertrieben teuer, beim Frühstück 7 Gerichte zur Auswahl die dann frisch gekocht wurden, das dazgehörige Buffet war etwas spärlich, alles schnell leer und wurde nicht automatisch aufgefüllt. Zimmerservice ähnlich, es wurde immer etwas vergessen, das man dann an der Rezeption reklamieren musste. An einem Tag hatte wir gar keinen Zimmerservice, da habe ich dann Kaffee, Milch und Wasser nachbestellt, die benutzen Tassen wurden nicht getauscht!? Für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie und Preisklasse etwas schwach.

Un endroit au milieu de la nature et d'un golf, proche de la mer avec l'impression d'être seul au monde.
Très calme une super vue. Décoration soignée.
Le restaurant est de qualité ainsi que le petit déjeuner.
Le sauna et les bains nordics à l'extérieur très agréable.
Bons massages également.

Cons:

Rien.
Cependant vue la taille immense de la propriété, une piscine serait un vrai plus.

Amazing views nice communal areas

Cons:

Atmosphere was nice but not relaxed staff friendly but felt a bit false rather than real warmth have been to several hotels this holiday in similar price range yours was the the least friendly. Dead sheep and lamb on the beach one had been there awhile

An unforgettable stay with stunning views, a perfect location, and truly exceptional hospitality.
Pros:

The place was great, with breathtaking views of the rugged coastline and stunning sunsets. The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. I ran into an issue with my rental vehicle, and both the owner and staff stepped in right away without hesitation—they really went above and beyond.

The location is fantastic—just a 10-minute drive from Laphroaig, Lagavulin, Ardbeg, and Bowmore distilleries, plus right next to a great rum distillery and beer brewery. It’s also only about a 30-minute drive to Caol Ila (home of Johnnie Walker) and the ferry to mainland Scotland.

Highly recommend this place, and I’m already planning on coming back!
