Great location and fantastic breakfast with great gluten free options.
Decor is very tired in places, lots of noise from the entertainment in the evening.
The food, staff and room were of a high standard. .Couldn't have been looked after any better, even though we had a dog with us. I fully recommend The Merrion.

car parking always a problem in llandudno but managed ok this trip. car park could do with a bit of work, looking a bit neglected and insecure. lets hotel down a bit.

When booking better description of what facilities are in the rooms , I booked a side view room on the first floor with shower .
On arrival it was a lovely big room unfortunately the shower was over a bath which due to me having a cast on a broken ankle ,I couldn’t use it , couldn’t fault the staff they managed to relocate us to a room with a walk in shower on the third floor, it was smaller with a rear view but absolutely fine .

Parking facilities not good at the hotel. Saying that there is parking on the main road. Have to pay after 10am so to be mindful of that while check out is 10.30am.
Bought this stay for my mother in law and her best friend, they had the best time and kept ringing me to tell me how wonderful it was. The food was stunning and excellent value for me, the staff were attentive and caring and the hotel was clean. Parts were a little dated, but were well maintained. Their twin room was a lot smaller than they expected, but it wasn't off putting.

Bathroom too small, we had a very small shower, no room to move in the shower.
