Agora Guesthouse & Hostel

Läget är helt perfekt! Lugn gata men bara ett par minuter från Hagia Sofia, bargata, shopping etc. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal med väldigt bra engelskakunskaper, jag fick massor av hjälp och tips.
Bodde ett par nätter några kvarter bort för nästan samma pris. Agora har en standard långt över det andra alternativet.
Frukosten var turkisk (tror jag) och lite annorlunda men god. Den serveras på takterrassen som övrig tid kan användas fritt för boende. Man kan ta med något att dricka eller köpa i receptionen.

Never stayed in a guest house before and were very pleased with our experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms had everything we needed including a safe and great hairdryer. Shower had great pressure but the water was very slow to drain away which maybe a blockage? Beds were comfortable, had a great sleep but for me the roof top terrace was perfect to relax on in the evening. I am planning on going back to istanbul soon and i will definitely be staying here again.

If you are looking for a friendly and clean place to stay, this is the one. But let me start from beginning. When you walk in, you are greeted and welcomed by friendly staff. We walked in when the owner and his wife were present and they welcomed us as well. After a very bad experience day ago, with another hotel, we were so relieved to find this place, my wife started crying tears of relief.During our stay we have noticed a very friendly and relaxed but professional atmosphere between the owner and his staff. He is very friendly and polite with each one of them, sits and talks to them. We also noticed that the owner tries to remember each guests name and addresses them with their first name, welcomes you to join him at the table or will join you for a chat. Any questions or wishes we had, he did everything to accommodate them.In this guesthouse you are getting an included breakfast on the terrace, it is a standard but nice breakfast with friendly staff.They also offer laundry service in house, as well as a PCR test with a nurse who comes to the hotel by appointment. Some important note is that manager Mr.Alper is never shy to jump and clean the guesthouse area even though he has his staff.Mr.Alper and his staff are proactive in anyway to make their customers a wonderful and remembered stay at their guesthouse.We loved it here and would definitely come back again to this place. Mr.Alper and wonderful staff of Agora thank you for your outpouring help and service.

Freshly made hot breakfast, clean property, friendly and helpful staff

Everything was perfect but room cleaning can be better. Also they never changed towels during our stay

The staff are highly helpful. When faced with a small issue the owner and staff found solutions. My room with windows opening onto the courtyard was great. Basic breakfast, which was good for me with fruits cheese eggs and coffee

Agora Guest war eine Woche unsere Unterkunft und wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Das einzige was uns etwas gestört hat war das für ein Ehepaar der Schrank Etwas zu klein war, kann man eventuell zwei Regale einbauen lassen und das war das einzigste und kleinste Nachteil. Wir würden uns immer wieder gerne für Agora und seine freundlichen Mitarbeiter/innen entscheiden.
