Breakfast plates were very hot. Food was almost cold.
Breakfast was adequate. We had dinner the first night and although it was acceptable the presentation was a rather slapped up and seemed as if it had been sitting around for a while.
I know nothing can be done about it but the shower was rather confined!
friendly staff. very clean room
Loved the location. Friendly helpful staff. Great view. Highly recommend.
No aircon and it was a very hot day. But staff found us a fan which did the job. Slept well. Tight parking but very grateful to have it.
The location was perfect with a side sea view too. All of the staff were amazing from check in to breakfast staff. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and very tasty
It s was about 30 degrees the night we stay so it was except in the room. The cooling fan wasn’t very powerful or effective. Still a great trip though.
Great location, amazing sea view from room.
Bathroom was dated, shower needs upgrading.
Parking was very difficult.
Room only. No meals
Unable to watch certain channels on the TV as there was no signal
I had a wonderful stay at The Elizabeth Hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and always happy to help, making me feel comfortable from check-in until departure.
The hotel was spotless throughout, with a clean, comfortable room that was well maintained every day. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the local area, restaurants and nearby attractions.
Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options to suit different tastes. Everything was well presented, and the breakfast staff provided excellent service.
Overall, I highly recommend The Elizabeth Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with outstanding staff, a fantastic breakfast and an excellent location. I would definitely stay here again.
There was nothing significant to dislike. I really enjoyed my stay.
Our room was very clean. The staff were very good, especially Yuni. The breakfast was very good.
Our room was very stuffy with inadequate ventilation. The shower cubicle was very cramped.
It was clean and nicely decorated, the bar and restaurant area were nice and breakfast staff were really nice. The lady on Reception on Thursday was lovely and had really good customer service skills as did the gentleman who was there on Friday evening. The bed was comfy and the shower was nice, also the soap smelt amazing, we liked how close it was to the beach and town as well
Receptionist on Wednesday was rude about the fact we hadn’t booked parking for 3 nights however when we booked our stay we were told parking was already full for our second and third night so not sure why she had a go at us, the room was very hot and a fan might be a useful addition in the summer, the room was really noisy from the bar next door, people in the street, seagulls and there was a lot of noise from the room above (sounded like furniture being moved) that lasted all night I know these things can’t be helped but it was so noisy it made it hard to sleep and when you’re paying so much you expect it to be a bit quieter. Also we asked if we’d be able to have early breakfast or something to take in the last day as we’d paid for breakfast but needed to leave at 6am and we’re just given a straight no but I think really they could have provided some fruit or a pastry we didn’t want a cooked breakfast just something since we’d paid. Also we bought some water from the bar, asked for still and was given sparkling, we realised before the bottle was open and instead of just swapping it we had to pay for a new bottle. On the whole we had a lovely stay in a nice hotel but these small things stood out and didn’t feel in keeping with the vibe of the hotel
Great location and recent make over made it a great spot to enjoy Sidmouth. Staff were friendly and efficient and we enjoyed our stay.
Aircon will increasingly become a differentiator for uk hotels. Invest now and reap the rewards. No fan even, took the shine off what was an otherwise very good break.
We had a lovely room with doors that opened onto a little terrace overlooking the sea, which was so nice. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening and breakfast the next day, and all of the food was really lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a great location for a walk along the seafront.
Clean & comfy room. Nice breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, love the complementary water.
N/ A
everything went fine, no complaints , staff very good at all times.
Room 24 , creaky floor in the bathroom and worse in the shower. The shower tray was most odd standing on it and moving around, a fix is needed just for the people below.
Location
Small room size and not many extras like shampoo etc and no fridge in room
