i asked for a quiet room they gave me on ein the third floor when there is a 4th floor ao the person above me was very noisy from 6am, then at 8.45 when i was catching up on my sleep the chaimbermade knocked on the door, most hotels do not have chambermaid at that time so could not sleep well
did not sleep well, and paid 83 pounds for it
Staff were very friendly and we had great views from our room
Radiator was on in the bathroom and we couldn’t turn it off, which made the room extremely hot (weather was hot and sunny) breakfast had good options but was poor when presented to us. A manned buffet style breakfast would of been nicer
Beautiful and clean, front of house staff excellent , lovely and welcoming
Brilliant sleep, and it was a very hot day,
Don't bother with breakfast,
Only on for a short time,
I didn't receive my muesli, and full breakfast was very dry, I could have choked on the bacon horrible, and neither of my daughters touched any of it.
We went. Down near end of breakfast, and it looked like it had been left under a heat lamp in the kitchen since 8 a.m., bar for the egg
And They jammed 3 of us on a tiny table, when they had a few big round tables with just 2 people sitting at them.
I'll give them that when I complain, the head lady came over,
she pushed 2 tables together, and the reason for just 2 people sitting at the big tables was that they were here for a week,
well love, I'm here for 1 night, so moving them so a small table for 1 day shouldn't have put them out too much, but you would rather be lazy about it.
So I had to feel uncomfortable and complain, due to your lazy attitude of the head staff
My only other complaint is
also the employee I complained to in the first place,
apparently didn't speak English,
the head staff told us,
as my daughter also complained how rude she was, to just waking away while we complained, that we were crampped
If saying
sorry, I'll just get you someone,
Is to much, hospitality isn't the job for her
Mybe chambermaid, but definitely not in the restaurant
Or was it just a fibble excuse,
By you head of staff,
trying to make my daughter feel uncomfortable complaining,
by putting your customers down, and made to feel like a racist,
When you should have staff that understand people's complaints especially in a restaurant
What if someone said I've got an allergy and she didn't under stand,
Bloody disgusting and could kill someone
Im complaining about staff we don't know,
but i assume would speak basic English if working in contact with customers and food
Anyway, She just walked away ignorantly,
I didn't know if we were getting any help or not.
Friendly staff, good location. Comfy beds.
Bit dated. No hairdryer
Location
Unclean
The hotel was im a lovely location
Decor was very dated and beds were uncomfortable
Friendly good entertainment and act, good price alcohol, lovely terrace, good food ,nice restaurant .with an upgrade could be stunning hotel
Bedroom Just started to look very tired, garden could be nice but neglected,
Location for views was very good Staff very helpful and chatty.
There wasn't a lot of choices for breakfast if you don't eat a cooked breakfast. I had porridge not very nice there wasn't any fruit or yoghurt available so I would have breakfast elsewhere unless you like the traditional.
The location of the hotel is ideal. The room was spacious & comfortable. The staff were very welcoming & efficient.
When we first entered the room, we noticed quite a strong aroma of urine coming from the shower room, the room was clean, but I think the drainage system is not up to standard. Breakfast came with the booking, but it wasn't particularly good. My wife had a full English breakfast that was so small, one could barely call it "full". I ordered porridge, but what I got was more like flaked rice, followed by eggs benedict, the eggs were overdone, as were the bagels, & just one piece of bacon was placed on the side of the plate, pretty poor. I paid £182.00 for one night, for a 3 star hotel, that's disgusting. The price had been increased as there were events on at the open air concert venue, all hotels do this when such events are on, but it's a low & underhanded practice. As far as I'm concerned, we didn't get value for money at this hotel & it's very unlikely we'll return.
Room was clean and tidy staff are very helpful
Beautiful views and rooms were clean and well presented
The breakfast was poor and the breakfast service wasn't great (had to keep prompting for things even when they required a menu card completing). Family room on pictures had bath and shower but the room we got only had a shower (which wasn't great with a little one that lives baths)
Large historic hotel
Our first room smelled of urine so the hotel upgraded us to one of the newly renovated rooms
Nothing
The hotel is very well kept and maintained.
The room we stayed in was very clean and was very adequate for me and my 2 children.
The staff are very friendly and help with everything you need to help you enjoy your stay.
Its situated in such a good place to get to the sea front and the centre its a win win all round.
There was nothing not to like.
