A comfortable base for me to explore Apostle Paul's hometown
Pros:

The hotel is conveniently located near Makam Meydan, at the town centre of Tarsus - Apostle Paul's hometown. Comfortable, modest-sized room and nice breakfast served by the hotel owner. The owner kindly showed me their old wine cellar. His family provided me much help when I was checking in (carrying luggage under 40 degrees weather), and directions when I was leaving for the bus station (Otogar).

A Warm and Authentic Stay in the Heart of Tarsus.
Pros:

Staying at this hotel was a truly memorable experience. The building itself is beautifully preserved, with a strong sense of history that makes you feel as if you’re staying in a charming, centuries-old home. Despite its age, everything is kept spotlessly clean and wonderfully cosy.

The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Tarsus’s historic district, making it easy to explore the town’s rich cultural heritage on foot.

What stood out most was the hospitality. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, treating you not like a customer, but like a guest in their own home. Their warmth and attentiveness added a special touch to the whole experience.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an authentic, comfortable, and heartfelt stay in Tarsus.

Pros:

When you enter the property you are transported to another era, the architecture, the furniture, and the patio. We arrived at night and the next day we started the day having our breakfast in a patio with orange trees around (Leila) the girl who served us, super friendly. Thank you Leila, you are very special.

A great nightstop in Tarsus!
Pros:

I chose the Osmanli Marco Pasha Hotel for its location and for motorcycle security. On both aspects it was excellent.
The hotel has an exotic atmosphere with interesting and attractive buildings and plants. The parking is enclosed, the rooms clean and functional, and breakfast was both ‘typical’ and individual. Most enjoyable!
No evening meal was available but the manager organised one of her staff to take me to a local restaurant where I had an excellent meal.
I also had some sightseeing desires. The hotel is but a 5-10 minute walk from St Paul’s house and well.
I have no hesitation in recommending Osmanli Marco Pasha Hotel.

Cons:

To be truthful - nothing!

Pros:

The officer at the front desk was aware of ou booking. She insisted that I have no reservation although I had the itinerary regarding my payement. At the end, she was not still convinced.
The cleanliness was very poor. There were hair on the sheets and smoked cigarettes on the floor. I changed the sheets myself.
I believe, the whole facility requires a renewal

Hotel mit historischem Touch
Pros:

If you plan to spend the night in Tarsus, this is the place.
Pros:

It was decorated nicely and the staff was very friendly. A nice oasis in the middle of old town Tarsus.

Cons:

Some things a bit shabby and could have been cleaned better. The “bar” wasn’t a fully operational bar either.

Matando a curiosidade
Pros:

I DID NOT STAY THERE AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BOOK THIS PLACE. IN FACT RUN AWAY FROM IT.
Pros:

I couldn’t and did not stay at this property for the owner or the manager (not sure of his position) was extremely rude. I have requested refund but it was refused by him. So I called the police due to his harassment and left. Although I did not stay at the property and the owner or manager was extremely rude at the degree that I had to call the police for harassment I still did not get the refund. May the Lord forgive them and do not count against them what they have tried to do to me in Christ Jesus amen ✝️

Cons:

The manager was extremely rude to my face and they speak lies bluntly. I did not stay at the property yet they have refused to refund. It is a shabby old property in need of modernisation. It is worth half the price they ask. Do not book this property. There is another beautiful hotel called ELIF HATUN KONAGI which I highly recommend to all. Be blessed in the LORD amen ✝️

Oki for 1 night. Dunno about breakfast
Pros:

Central historic area

Cons:

We were offered breakfast at 7am, the reception girl confirmed it, but the next morning they said wait till 8am. I guess to few people. We missed it.
Bed was unconfortable.
