Perfect!
Pros:

Beautiful location on the edge of Dartmoor. The garden and terrace were ideal and perfect in the lovely sunshine we had. The lounge was big with plenty of comfy seating. Our deluxe room was very comfortable (love the little rubber duck 😃). Excellent breakfast. And the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overall nice, just a bad room. There are I think most rooms with a nice view
Pros:

Very nice breakfast, nice garden, friendly staff

Cons:

Our room had a view over the roof where all the AC‘s of kitchen and restaurants were. No AC in the room, which would be ok if you can open a window, but this was very noisy until 11pm and then it smells like in a kitchen in the room. The dinner took us ages, waited about 45 minutes foe our main course

Wonderful hotel with a beautiful terrace overlooking a stunning garden
Pros:

Very nice hotel with a gorgeous garden and terrace. We very much enjoyed having breakfast with such a beautiful view. Breakfast was very good and the staff was fabulous - always friendly and attentive. We slept very well and the rooms were nicely decorated. Overall a very dog-friendly place. I almost wished I had a dog! Would definitely stay here again!

Cons:

The rooms were not very soundproof. We could hear the neighbors watching tv and coughing. It did not bother us very much but it may be something to consider, if people are sensitive to noise.

Comfortable break in a stunning setting.
Pros:

In its amazing setting on Dartmoor, the Moorland is welcoming and has great value rooms. The staff were friendly and genuinely cared about their hotel.

Cons:

The breakfast- though well prepared and tasty- was pricey. Bedrooms were very hot in a heatwave.
