Pros:

Great restaurant and fabulous bar staff

Cons:

Reception isn't very welcoming on arrival. I felt like I was an inconvenience to the receptionist, its a bit off putting when everything else os lovely

Cons:

Day 1: We were warned to book for dinner before the coach party arrived. Unfortunately we didn’t arrive early enough. Consequently we sat ,together with other tables, with empty plates and empty glasses, whilst the bus party gained priority. Insufficient staff who tried their best.
Not the staff’s fault.
But it spoilt our evening.
Day2 eating was better in bar .
Otherwise I was very happy with the hotel.
Get to dinner early or late!

L'hotel si trova in una posizione stremamente comoda per visitare il parco di Dartmoor. E' un classico hotel inglese caratterzzato da un bellissimo giardino su cui si affaccia il ristorante. La cena al ristirante è stata ottima, anche i prezzi economici per gli standard inglesi. La colazione altrettanto ottima. Le camere normali, il letto comodo, il bagno pulito. Ben attrezzate con caffè e biscotti.

Cons:

L'unica nota forse migliorabile nella camera che abbiamo occupato era il fatto che sul davanzale c'erano molti escrementi di uccelli sul davanzale, una maggiore pulizia avrebbe migliorato il giudizio. Nel complesso comunque bisogna considerare che l'ambiente è molto rurale per cui può accadere.

Super Hotel !
Pros:

Für Wanderung im Dartmoor rund um die Haytor Rocks hatte das Hotel eine sehr gute Lage. Direkt vor dem Hotel grasen und galoppieren wilde Ponys. Das Frühstück war full english, man konnte tolle Ei-Kreationen bestellen.

Cons:

Da das Hotel komplett nach Süden ausgerichtet ist, haben sich die Zimmer ohne Klimaanlage extrem aufgeheizt. Es war aber auch eine extreme Hitzewelle in England in diesem Sommer.
