Great location, can walk to Myeongdong Street. Not far from other tourist attractions. Very modern and clean. Full bidet. Small bathroom and room but we were able to fit 2 large suitcases, nothing more. Comfy king bed. Loved the kitchenette had a dispenser of filtered water.

The hotel has kindly free upgraded my room so that we can have more space for the baby crib and all the luggages. The residence was very nice and comfortable. Location is very convenient. The playhouse is very kids friendly as well. Highly recommended for families.

We booked five nights as a family. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was its location and the rooftop pool, which our six year old doughter was looking forward to visit. But on arrival we`ve been informed that children are not allowed in the rooftop pool, even when accompanied by adults. This Info was displayed nowhere on the website. Equally strange is the fact that there is a reservation system for the pool. You can't just walk by and cool off if you feel like it. You have to make a reservation in advance, which only entitles you to a maximum stay of 45 minutes. It is also not possible to visit the pool twice a day, e.g., for a quick swim in the morning and to freshen up in the evening, as only one reservation per day can be made. But back to our arrival: The reservation was made for three guests, but when we opened the door, the room only had amenities such as towels, hangers, toothbrush cups, duvets, and pillows for two people. Furthermore, the room temperature was 28 degrees Celsius upon arrival. During our stay, the temperature repeatedly rose to this level despite being set to the coldest setting, and no remedy could be found - and there was no apology by the staff either. The hotel is also equipped with a range of technical gimmicks. For example, a booking system for ordering room amenities (such as the missing hangers). However, only a maximum of two hangers can be ordered at a time. Women should therefore travel with a maximum of two dresses, and men with a maximum of two suits. Equally interesting: there is an indoor pool that children are also allowed to use. However, swimming caps must be worn here. This is not the case in the rooftop pool. But why? Since we were not allowed to visit the rooftop pool with our daughter, we each had to buy a swimming cap from the hotel. The bottom line is that the hotel leaves a strange overall impression that has nothing to do with a five-star hotel where the guest should be treated well. Finally, a tip: if you book a regular standard taxi to the airport through the hotel, you pay a fixed rate of 80,000 won. However, if you take a taxi from the street or via App, it only costs 60,000 won. It is not worthy of a hotel of this category to try to earn money from the taxis as well.

Very good location, walking distance to bus and MRT station. Diverse and good breakfast options. Nice and big indoor pool.

Our Residence Deluxe Room (1 king size bed) was very spacious with a generously large bathroom. The room is very clean and modern.
Kitchenette was well equipped with a washing machine/ dryer, microwave and fridge, espresso machine and induction cooker. Everything was new, well maintained and worked well with easy to understand instruction manuals.

Service was great throughout, with housekeeping requests coming very promptly and in a friendly manner.

We stayed in the residences and were very comfortable there. The rooms had a washing machine which was very convenient. The deli in the lobby was also very nice.

Couch has multiple stains, possibly food possibly couch does not get cleaned.

Friendly staff and English speaker was always available for guests and visitors.

Two subway stations are located very close.
2 convenience stores are close by as well as a chicken spot that is open late.

Very close to dundun mall, walkable distance to multiple olive youngs, mimi line and nyu nyu.

Family holiday in Seoul based at Novotel.
From entering hotel to leaving the entire experience was extremely positive. Very attentive staff, very clean, modern and well maintained rooms and common areas. The remote control “American standard” toilet was an experience in itself 😉.
Functional gym met all my needs, outdoor pool I used once, seems acceptable for male guests to spit into drainage channels. Oh wear a hat and t shirt as this is common practice.
Did a buffet and fine dining meal. The quality of the products were good but grossly overpriced when considering local restaurants nearby. I ate once on my own as family were out. Buffet, 1 beer, 2 coffees, 2 desserts. Mains of lamb chops and veg. £66. Meal for 4 at Han Nam Pig (recommended by concierge). £50 (that’s with 6 bottles beer). As I stated the products on offer and service was fabulous (not fine dining but functional buffet hotel Fayre).
100% I would stay here again, I’d even give a gourmet meal a try.
