Pros:

Ein sehr angenehmes Hotel mit außergewöhnlich freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Der Kundenservice wird hier wirklich großgeschrieben – das Team hat immer ein offenes Ohr für die Gäste und achtet selbst auf kleine Details, damit man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel ist sehr angenehm und entspannt. Auch die Lage ist hervorragend: zentral und in unmittelbarer Nähe zu vielen bekannten Geschäften, Restaurants und anderen Aktivitäten. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohlgefühlt und kann das Hotel definitiv weiterempfehlen.

excellent option in the centre of Essen
Pros:

excellent breakfast - including cooked options in addition to the buffet; comfortable room, friendly staff - mostly -, and onsite parking (and if this doesn't work, the hotel has an arangement with Q-park directly opposite the hotel); excellent location, a very short walk from the centre

if you want your room cleaned, you need to tell them a day in advance, which is fairly useless, I would say

Mooi hotel maar slechte omgeving
Pros:

Mooie nette en ruime kamer. Zelfs met 2 jonge kinderen op de kamer nog heel ruim!

Cons:

De omgeving. We kwamen aan rond 23 uur aan en in de gehele omgeving zaten, lagen en liepen alleen maar junkies die gewoon in het openbaar drugs aan het gebruiken waren. En dan heb ik het over junkies die letterlijk lepels aan het opwarmen zijn en spuiten!

Quiet, clean and stylish
Pros:

This is my favourite hotel to stay at in Essen. The staff are friendly, the rooms very comfortable and the location is perfect. Breakfast is also the most interesting I've had in any hotel in Essen.

De kamer en de locatie op zich goed

Cons:

Voornamelijk een zakenhotel. Staf heeft weinig oog voor toeristen en al helemaal niet voor wensen mbt ov. Ze weten het niet. Kamer matig schoon gehouden. Geen bed verschoond, vaak vuile kopje laten staan enz. Beperkt ontbijt, maar toereikend. De buurt van het hotel is omgeven door drugsverslaafden.

Business hotel in Essen. Very good value.
Pros:

Odlična lokacija - u centru grada. Osoblje vrlo susretljivo i profesionalno. Soba je bila odlično ohladjena u svako doba dana, a nikada prehladna. Parking ispod hotela je vrlo mali ali koristan.

Cons:

Bar u lobbiju u radnim satima - nitko me nije poslužio jer je isto osoblje iz bara radilo na recepciji i rješavalo neke druge probleme.

Good choice, comfortable stay
Pros:

Centrally located, clean, quiet hotel, excellent windows protect from the noise of main road outside, they still have bathtubs not just showers which was v welcome, breakfast could have had more fruit and less meat, but overall very good choice.

Cons:

On day 2 (out of 3) my room card stopped working and I had to go downstairs to reception to have it reactivated - unnecessary and unpleasant cos it made one feel like it had been done on purpose to keep a check on guests.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt während einer Fahrradtour
Pros:

Wir waren erstmals in Essen und das Großstadtflair für uns etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Lage des Hotels nahe an der Fußgängerzone in der Innenstadt war für uns ausschlaggebend. Das Personal hat uns mit einigen Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt versorgt. Das Personal ist im Übrigen sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unsere Räder konnten wir in der Tiefgarage unterstellen. Wir konnten so in aller Ruhe einen langen Spaziergang unternehmen und die Innenstadt kennenlernen. Die Anbindung zum überregionalen Radweg war kein Problem. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, weil "behindertengerecht". So hatten wir genügend Platz für unsere Radtaschen.

Cons:

Leider gab es nur eine große Bettdecke für das Doppelbett, so dass wir den Hausservice bemühen mussten...

Great hotel, but location with 2 sides to it
Pros:

I liked everything about the hotel, but the location had two sides to it. On one hand, there were many restaurants offering diverse cultural cuisines, and on the other hand, there were too many people struggling with addiction.

Cons:

Regarding the location, there are too many people using cocaine, alcohol, and other substances. While they don't cause harm directly, it creates an uncomfortable atmosphere. The police should address this situation.
