Friendly staff. Slightly inferior to other Mimaru
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and attentive

Cons:

The property is slightly further away from everything
We had a diaper left near the bed meaning it was not thoroughly cleaned. We stayed at other Mimaru during the trip and this one was slightly more dated

Pros:

Good room layout, well maintained and excellent housekeeping.

Cons:

A little far from Ueno station. Worst bathroom on 4 week trip. Black tub always looked dirty. No safety grab bars. Takes 20 minutes to fill tub. No view. Corridors are covered but open to outdoors. No lobby seating.

Pros:

Very spacious rooms which is a rarety in tokyo. Very clean and super comfortable for a family of four. The mini kitchen and dining area were an added bonus. Ideal for vegetarians or those who want to cook instead of eating out every meal. Induction stove, pots, pans, cutlery, hot water kettle were all available in the room. Rice cooker was available on request at no extra cost.

The location was ideal as the Ueno metro station was just a couple of minutes away by walk. Many convenience stores like 7-11 and Lawsons were nearby. Ueno park, museums and many other attractions were all within walkable distance.

Mimaru Suites delivers consistent quality and service
Pros:

Fairly good location near Ueno Station. The layout of the room is comfortable. Finishes, furniture and materials used are better than most. Housekeeping is does a good job and they are very generous with providing towels.

Cons:

The hallways are covered but exposed to the elements which is a bit strange. The black bathtub is the worst of our 4 week trip and the room is too dark. It takes a very long time for the tub to fill and always seems dirty. There are no grab bars for safety. The beds are uncomfortable.

Cons:

La chambre était très bruyante, elle donnait sur une route principale (une autoroute?), difficile de trouver le sommeil. Impossible d'être au calme.
