Ant infestation
Pros:

Did not like room,the place was over run with ants,did not stay ,10 minutes to check room,not acceptable,young lady was polite ,and said they was having a problem with that room,and had been reported many times.

Room very hot given the weather however no fan provided, missing basics like iron/ironing board. The cleanliness was passable but could do with attention to detail as hairs in bath, dust on head of bed, cups stained.

Good but take ear plugs.
Pros:

Room very comfortable. Had dinner in the pub, both dinner and staff good.

Cons:

Sound insulation of rooms poor. The person in the room above had a tv on until 3am, so very difficult to sleep. No obvious way to contact staff about it.

Paying guests seem to be an inconvenience!

Beautiful setting - that’s about it really

Cons:

Very difficult to achieve basic goals - a teaspoon, a hairdryer , a straight answer. As the accommodation is set on top of a metal staircase we didn’t appreciate kids running up and down at 6.30am. No guest info or staff around
