Pros:

We received a warm wlecome when we arrived and were shown to our room. The room was very clean with a lake view. Nice small, quiet hotel set in beautiful gardens. The staff were very attentive. Breakfast was very good with more or less everything you could want.

Cons:

I don't think there was anything we didn't like.

Wonderful stay!
Pros:

The location was incredible, with the beautiful views to look out on each day. The staff were lovely and very kindly upgraded our room for our 50th which was above and beyond. Breakfast was wonderful each day, and their were certainly some items that were my favourite. All in all a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend for people to stay here.😍

Cons:

Some of the breakfast items we weren't the biggest fan of such as the salmon but that may be personal preference rather than it being bad!

A stunning hotel in beautiful surroundings.
Pros:

The room was beautifully clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and attentive, always at hand to help when needed. The breakfast each morning was superb with a great selection. All in lovely well tended grounds.

Cons:

Maybe need more than one vegetarian option for evening meal. Nothing to dislike.

Lovely stay - old fashioned charm - made to feel special - nice chocolate bunny for Easter Sunday.
Pros:

Beautiful locations and great food. The room was large and very comfortable - lots of chilling and close to Bo’ness.

Short break.
Pros:

We made a last minute decision to head to the Lakes for a couple of nights and this was an absolute gem of a find.
The house itself is in a lovely setting and just far enough away from town to feel like you're away from the bustle.
The staff are brilliant, very professional but equally welcoming and friendly.
Breakfast has plenty of choice with good quality produce.
Our room was a good size and immaculately clean.
I feel the room was reasonably priced and we would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Nothing to dislike.

Parfait
Pros:

Que dire de cet hôtel juste que c’est parfait! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, dans une chambre spacieuse , confortable et propre. L’accueil a été très agréable, le personnel est souriant et serviable. Nous avons dîné au restaurant, un délicieux repas, avec un serveur très attentionné, nous chuchotant quelques mots en français. La carte du menu n’est pas très longue mais largement suffisante et à mon avis c’est plutôt un gage de qualité. Bravo à toute l’équipe pour ce beau travail. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel.

A great stay in a comfortable hotel, ideally situated, with excellent staff.
Pros:

Breakfast was great.
The main meal we had was fine, but the choice was limited. We only ate in one night as we wanted more to choose from for a second night.
To be fair to the hotel, from the start, they did recommend local restaurants and the one we selected was excellent.

Cons:

Nothing that I haven’t already covered.
