The room was spacious, and the bathroom too. There was a kitchen and they leave coffee and and tea available.

It is a good size apartment with all reasonable amenities you need. Love the concept where livingroom and pantry one section of it self and bathroom and bedroon in it's own section.
The hov is being removed and covered up with slab of board.
The room was clean and well maintained. It was a good size with enough space to move around comfortably, which made the stay more relaxing. The bed was comfortable; however, the pillows were quite flat and not very comfortable.
What I found particularly disappointing was the attitude and lack of flexibility shown by the staff. I had made a reservation that included breakfast, but the day before my arrival I realised that the hotel does not provide a cooked breakfast. I called and was told that it would not be a problem for the administrator to remove the breakfast from my booking. However, upon arrival we were informed that this was not possible.
As I have health issues, I must follow a strict diet, which the hotel was unable to accommodate. The following day I asked whether a specific type of milk could be provided, but I was told that I should purchase my own and bring it with me to breakfast. I found this response quite disappointing and not particularly considerate of guests with dietary requirements.
Great location. Around the corner from the Oxford Bar. A short walk to the Royal Scots Club. Easy walk to either railway station. Easy to take the tram to Leith and further.
Room was in the basement, but being Edinburgh, the room looked out onto a nice courtyard.
Clean & comfy room came with a kitchenette, plus huge shower.
Everything worked.
Breakfast available in the lobby. As were coffee and drinks throughout.
Bonus was the laundrette.
NB: If you needed a brolly, they were available for rent in the lobby. That's a first for me.
Desk was a little too high for a laptop. But the dining table made a good substitute.
The wardrobe was a little dark. A motion light in the hanging area helped. But the shelving areas were still hard to see. A mirror on the opposite wall could help?

Did not eat there . Great room very clean ..
As an elderly guest and not really in touch with booking in online i was a bit lost .. when I spoke to the receptionist about my key he said from his chair “ use the pad over there to do it “ I hadn’t a clue ! .. and when I said “ I don’t know what to do “.. he ( in my opinion) went off his mobile phone and came over and did it for me .. not the best first impression..However.. I would return as it is a great location, clean..and an excellent room

Central location, spacious room and clean.
Attention to detail. No fridge, no extractor in bathroom. No spoons to go with the coffee and tea making facilities.
La struttura è in una posizione ottima, la pulizia è buona ma potrebbero fare più attenzione ad alcuni dettagli. Consiglierei di far arieggiare un po’ prima la stanza che arrivino gli ospiti perché sapeva di chiuso. Il letto era comodo.
Sulla pulizia consiglierei di pulire meglio sotto al letto soprattutto verso gli angoli perché c’era molta polvere, io sono allergica alla polvere e dunque mi sono accorta subito.
