Housekeeping was poor, the room I had was poorly maintained for the three days I was resident with cleanliness ignored, facilities not supplied or replenished properly when supplied. Wi-fi was a joke in these days with metered and a need to get daily "tickets" to gain access, this is 2023 not 2003!
Staff gave the impression that I was an irritation rather than welcomed. All round not a good stop at all.
On the positive side, the location is excellent and there is secure parking. Nearby facilities can be walked to and the Restaurant, when properly managed, serves excellent food. The Restaurant was the high point of the stay.
We love coming here! The staff are very friendly. Only complaint is the WiFi is limited which makes remote working difficult.
Not going there again
I booked this stay using hotels.com and got a confirmation number. When I had to call this particular property to let them know that I was running late and wanted to make sure that the room is still held by the time I went, the customer service automated response system asked for confirmation number. The number I got from hotels.com is different from what they expect and hence I had to send a person to make sure that the room is held.
This kind of an experience which disabled people to reach the front office of the hotel is painful. Why not directly route my call to the particular branch or have an option that directly connects me to a customer service agent for cases like these?
The staff was super friendly and great to work with.
