This was hospitality at its best. I had a lovely suite, and enjoyed delicious meals, served by attentive and knowledgeable staff. The location is exceptional, gardens spreading down to a busy river. Wareham is a charming little town, with some delightful walks along the riverside. The hotel of course is beautiful, but the big plus is the staff, nothing was too much trouble.
Oh being picky, but I hate those mean little bottles of toiletries in the bathroom. Even if they were Molton Brown.
Excellent food and service
Some slow response to specific requests.
מיקום נהדר ליד הנחל באוירת רוגע ושלווה.
בחדר היתה משקפת לצפות בציפורים ובצבאים מעבר לנהר.

The hotel is beautifully rambling with gardens running down to the river. The fairly new restaurant overlooking the gardens was excellent. Every member of staff was extremely friendly.
The restaurant food was good and served hot.
Note had been taken that we were celebrating a wedding anniversary; we were given a splendid table for dinner and a decorated plate/sweets after our meal marking the anniversary. Small things maybe but much appreciated.
Thought it was traditional & tasteful the garden was really maintained
Nothing loved everything about it
The hotel and gardens and the view were wonderful. The staff were excellent, charming and professional. Food super.
Our room (no 23 ?) was characterful and attractive. But it had a few problems. There was no mirror in front of the basin in bathroom so difficult for my husband to shave. To get to a plug socket I had to climb under the shelf where the kettle and and tea/coffee facilities were. The stairs directly outside the room door were very tricky. We were fine but an older person would have found it dangerous.
Superb food
Bed a bit soft
This place was exceptional, lovely location, gorgeous room, spotlessly clean ,lovely staff ,outstanding food !
We spent a night here had three course dinner, breakfast and returned to have afternoon tea in the pod by the river for our 2 friends birthdays. There was a little bit of anxiety on the staff part about us having enough room in the pod but it was fine we had lots of space and could easily of fitted 6 for afternoon tea.it was just what I wanted a more private quiet space to enjoy🤩The meal was outstanding on every level! one of the best meals I’ve ever had and although the hotel is a high end place it’s not snobby and actually very down to earth and ,chilled and has such a relaxing atmosphere. The staff in the restaurant were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble and they were super friendly.I/We will be back soon …can’t wait! …keep up the good work your all amazing!
Nothing!*****:)))
Lovely property in a perfect position in a charming town
Slightly small ( but very comfortable ) rooms for the price
Beautiful period property. Lovely location. Staff were very attentive. It was like stepping back in time.
The views and grounds were spectacular. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Worth every penny!
Nothing.
