Sehr schöne Zimmer mit dem bequemsten Bett welches ich je in einem Hotel hatte. Ein wunderbarer Blick aufs Matterhorn hat das Zimmer auch geboten. Das Frühstück war super lecker und es gab alles was das Herz begehrt (Leckeres Brot, Toast, diverse Eierspeisen, Panecakes, Müsli, Früchte, Joghurt etc.)

Pros:

A very nice hotel, the views of the Matterhorn are the best, the staff are always helpful and agreeable, and the rooms are clean and comfortable and very good breakfast. A good hotel for skiing and relaxing.

Great value, comfortable stay, friendly atmosphere- highly recommended!
Pros:

The hotel offers fantastic value for money: my room was really spacious, with lovely balcony, offering great views to Matterhorn on one side. It is very clean and also with daily cleaning service. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I loved the bathtub: it was perfect after the whole day of skiing. The breakfast is delicious and with lots of choice. The location is very convenient, in the mid-way between 2 ski lifts, minutes from the main town area. They offer station pickup services and in my case due to train delay I arrived late. They very kindly still arranged the transfer .
The team is very kind and extremely helpful, they provide lots of useful advice and information about the area, always with smile.
I would stay there again and I can recommend staying there.

Great experience
Pros:

Great view of the Matterhorn from our room balcony, absolutely amazing! Staff are professional and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful. Very clean and welcoming environment.

Too expensive!
Pros:

The view from the balcony was fantastic. The room was spacious. The staff was kind and helpful. The location is not bad but not in the thick of all activities/entertainment. Decent breakfast. It is walkable to the Station but difficult to carry heavy suitcases and walk there.

Cons:

My husband and I were traveling to 8 countries during this trip. Unfortunately, the trip to Zermatt was not planned well ahead of time and most hotels were fully booked. We chose Basecamp hotel from the available options. It turned out to be the lowest starred ( 2 or 3) hotel of our trip and the most expensive. We paid almost $1400 for two nights. I understand Zermatt is Matterhorn town. What was disappointing was that, on top of this humungous cost, they added a cost to pick us up and drop us back to/from the Station in their own van at a cost again - $44 + a city tax of almost $21!!! Agreed Switzerland is expensive, but the hotel could give their guests complimentary pick up and drop off when they charge you an arm and a leg for the stay there.
