Lovely views
Pros:

Great location, bed was comfy (small single) ,check in quick. Room had nice shower with string pressure, lovely view, TV etc

Cons:

Room could have been laid out a little better . TV was next to the head of the bed making it difficult to watch. Traffic noise quite loud as was passing

Lovely night with great food
Pros:

Lovely sized and comfortable room. Delicious food and large portions. Lots of nice areas to sit downstairs. Nice location in the highlands.

Prima gegeten in relaxte bar omgeving.

Pros:

We have passed this hotel many times on our way to the NW Highlands and said we would like to stay. Now we have and are very pleased to have done so. It is a beautifully situated and lovely late 19th century building with grand wooden fittings and a characterful feel. Some hotels of this age are described as 'tired'. This is not - it is well decorated and very clean. Evening meal was good and Sauvignon Blanc exceptional. Breakfast was tasty and efficiently served - very important for travellers wanting a good start and fuel for the journey. Speaking of journey and fuel - one excellent innovative feature is that the hotel has fitted an EV charger. This was very helpful to us as we had experienced some uncooperative chargers on Skye and in Kyle of Lochalsh. To be able to charge overnight was a lifesaver. We would like to stay again.

Cons:

Maybe a salmon or trout fish option for evening meal rather than plain fish and chips. The fish and chips were a good version, nonetheless.

Very friendly,helpful staff with comfortable bed and view of the river from very pleasant room Dinner was exceptionally tasty and satisfying. Due to a very early departure hotel provided a nice breakfast roll with choice of two breakfast items on it and fresh coffee in a takeaway container. No hesitation to recommend hotel if need accommodation in the area..

Cons:

That we were only staying the one night to facilitate
cruising on PS Waverley from Kyle of Lochalsh the morning after our stay.
