La nature
Charming 'old' hotel by the bridge. The staff were courteous and proficient.
Quiet room with spotless en suite bathroom.
The prices are quite high (e.g. about £20 for breakfast).
Staff, Service & food

It was cozy and warm … and the breakfast coffee excellent
Le personnel très gentil et serviable et le côté très écossais de la décoration. Cheminée qui crépite et très belles salles (bar et restaurant)
This was our favorite hotel while in Scotland. The staff, the food, the room, were wonderful. We ate in the restaurant both nights, and it was outstanding. Do not miss Nancy's Sticky Toffee Pudding! A man next to us had two of them, and I think he could have done a third; but after the ribbing we gave him, he thought better of it. The atmosphere in the dining room is casual, and easy to meet other travelers if you like to interact like we do. The breakfast was also good with very friendly wait staff. Morris was great, and fun to visit with in the bar. Take the river walk across the street, and go down the lane toward the castle hotel near the bridge. Quiet, beautiful scenery with lush greenery. The staff at the front desk gave us several places to visit, and couldn't have been nicer.
An excellent breakfast of porridge, salmon + scrambled egg. Perfect for a long day of walking ahead.
A firmer matress would have provided a better nights sleep. Dark furnishings do nothing to enhance guests feeling of wellbeing, when its dark and grey outside. Your furnishings need to lighten up. You have a beautiful building.
Classy, very good food, quiet at night
Beautiful hotel that has been renovated to a high standard. Our room was lovely and extremely comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant too.
Great location along the Great Glen Way too!
Very expensive and breakfast was £25 each per person in addition to the room rate. It was nice but we both agreed it wasn’t worth that additional expense.
WiFi very patchy and didn’t work well in the room.
Location
Breakfast poor, have to book a table even as a guest? Confusing considering there are only 13 rooms!
Room, restaurant / bar and staff were great. We had a late check-in and we’d notified the hotel ahead of time so everything went smoothly. Please note there’s no check-in after 10p though so plan accordingly.
The food was top notch and the location is central to a lot of great spots in the Highlands. Pitlochry is a nice stop too when coming up from Edinburgh.
Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to bad weather that knocked out power. We stayed through the first night with no issue but the power and other services weren’t going to be restored quickly. There were many trees felled into the road so there was no sightseeing either so we came back to Edinburgh earlier than planned and had a wonderful time touring around the city instead. We’d love to come back to the Invergarry hotel and finish sightseeing in the Highlands again soon!
