The staff was incredible. Rooms are tiny with very little storage area. Great airconditioner

Hotel was just okay. Would I stay here again probably not. No up keep, not the cleanest of hotels. Sand in our sheets making me believe sheets were not changed. Old used coffee filters in coffee machine with no new coffee to use, room was on 3rd floor no elevators in case you are traveling with people with disabilities. Did have some views. Again was just ok, more like a fancy hostel!

From the moment i stepped inside the staff greeted me with open arms. Because I arrived early I stored my bags while I headed out for an early lunch and a drink. The location was great. One corner of the block offered a wine bar, the other corner a brewery, and right next door to that another great restaurant/bar. Two blocks beyond that there was a mini mart two minutes beyond that the laundromat .Made a few stops in the story and it had everything I needed to make my week long stay a bit more comfortable. I was on a side street so hearing any cars or people wasnt any issue. Location was the best. Walking distance from plenty of dining options and sites.

Good location. There were cockroaches in the room, and it was not very clean. With some updates and cleaning, it could be a great place to stay.

I left early. Really not very well designed or appointed. Loud AC, too many stairs hauling bags, cheap bed and furniture. Would not recommend it.

Property was very good, clean and better than expected.

What was not good -
The airport to hotel taxi arrangement was messed up. Taxi was sent to Terminal 1 even though my flight details were provided and landed in Terminal 2. Taxi company tried to contact the taxi driver. I tried to contact the taxi driver too but no response. Finally, after an hours wait, the taxi company apologized and asked me to catch an Uber.

The property is in a good location with lots of dinning options. There is no elevator so you have to take the stairs. The bathroom light was flickering and the hallway light was not working.

I love old buildings that have interesting architecture, arched doorways, stone stairwells, etc. the Inn has a lovely common room area with kitchen facilities.

So this is a budget property. Does what it says on the tin. A/c in room is fine - bed comfy - rooms small - bathroom even smaller. Like most of Casco no lifts to rooms. But for overnight - great location.

The power went out in the building for hours. The toilet wouldn’t flush, the a/c wouldn’t work and there was no light. I chose to stay at another hotel and they refused to refund me the night stay despite the condition of the property. Expedia was of no help and made promise to help but never came through.

The front desk staff Adrian , abhay and other are very helpful .

While staff and entry are nice, rooms are run down and mattress is of very poor quality.

The first room we were in on first floor we could not sleep as the neighbors were playing loud music in the street. The front desk stated this occurs all the time and all they can do is call the police. They did this many times over 3 days. We liked the first floor room as the bathroom was in the room too. But could not stand the noise. When we came back at end of week we were on 3rd floor. There is no elevator so let’s just say our legs got a workout. Javier was amazing and brought our biggest luggage up for us. The bedroom was nice but the bathroom was accross the hall. Tiny hot bathroom as no air conditioning in it and the shower was strange with a wood slat floor. The maids came up there to get stored linens and were noisy. One maid walked into our room even though a do not disturb sign was on door. I slipped on the floors in kitchen as it was just mopped but no sign put up to let me know. I will say the staff there were incredible. They make up for any shortcomings for sure.

Hotel with a perfect location to explore the Casco Viejo and the city. It was very clean and the staff was very nice! Love it!

Lugar muy bueno para el precio pagado. Ubicado en el centro del casco histórico, rodeado de restaurantes y las principales atracciones. El staff muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Tiene la opción de tours gratis (basado en propinas) a pie en la parte del centro, lo cual sirve de mucha ayuda para conocer la zona y la historia. Sin dudas lo recomiendo

Magnolia Inn es un Hostal con solo algunas habitaciones individuales con baño privado, pero su línea de servicio es la de un Hostal, si espera un hotel formal con todos los servicios que un hotel provee (Servicio Diario de limpieza, amenidades en la habitación, desayuno, etc) este lugar no es para usted. El personal es agridulce, la mayoría muy atento, pero algunos tienen cualidades limitadas de servicio al cliente. El edificio es hermoso, bien ambientado en general, en una zona muy bien ubicada en el casco viejo detrás de la catedral, No hay ascensor, y las habitaciones individuales están en el 4to piso por lo que debe ir preparado para subir 70 escalones cada vez que entre.

The place itself is nice enough. But our room ran out of hot water and they could not fix it until next day.

Super fun place right in the middle of town. Rooms were nice and comfy
