The room was lovely, just as pictured. The receptionists were super friendly and helpful and allowed me to check in early and leave my luggage after check-out. There was a small bottle of cava and water in the room, which was a nice touch.
The location is right in Plaza Oriente and perfect for doing any tourism in Madrid - literally steps away from everything.
Even though there is a cafe below the hotel, the room was super quiet and you couldn't hear anything from the street with the windows closed.

Noise proofing was minimal and guests beside us could be heard at unusual hours.
I stayed for just one night. The hotel is centrally located, ten minutes from key landmarks. The area is pleasant, thanks to its proximity to a small park near the Royal Palace. The room was clean, and the staff were eager to help.The hotel attempts to compensate for its shortcomings by providing water, a small bottle of champagne, and chocolates.
The hotel is situated in an unsuitable, cramped location and has a small elevator. It aims to be a boutique hotel blending the old with the new, yet the bed is quite small for two people, and the floor creaked with every step—which was very bothersome at night. There is a bar/café on the ground floor that is open from very early in the morning until very late at night, causing noise and forcing you to keep the windows closed.

The staff was very nice and helpful. We loved the room. It was very quiet, clean, and cozy. The building is in the middle of the area where the Royal Palace is. We were able to walk around and explore the area. We found a lot of great restaurants and sights to see. The staffing handled any requests that we had, such as arrangements for transportation to the airport.
In the United States “Continental Breakfast” usually refers to a breakfast in the hotel which is provided free of charge. It was a surprise to hear that it was not the case. We had two windows in our room, but both views were of walls of the building next to us. That really wasn’t a problem, because we were out exploring so much.
Location is perfect, close to tourist attractions, access to shops, restaurants. Our room had very good garden view.

El Hotel tiene mucho encanto por el edificio tan antiguo en el que está situado y la ubicación está maravillosa enfrente del palacio de Oriente. El personal de recepción es una maravilla. Están súper atentos de que te encuentres bien y te facilitan mucho todas las cosas.

Ciò che ho apprezzato di più è stata senza dubbio la posizione: l’hotel si trova praticamente di fronte al Palazzo Reale, in una zona strategica che permette di raggiungere comodamente a piedi tutte le principali attrazioni di Madrid. La struttura è elegante e molto curata, le camere sono spaziose e impeccabilmente pulite, e tutto il personale si è dimostrato professionale e disponibile. Un soggiorno davvero piacevole, che consiglio senza esitazione.
