The Hoxton, Holborn

I love staying at the Hoxton it’s always such a vibe and the people working are so lovely and kind. Tomi, Samuel, Nienke and Dasha all were so nice and welcoming - I always look forward to going back!

De kamers waren super mooi en schoon, ik kreeg zelfs een upgrade naar een iets grotere kamer. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en het personeel erg vriendelijk. De locatie van het hotel is top! Je wordt omringd door leuke restaurants en bars.

Not one to leave reviews usually, but I think this was the first time my partner and I stayed somewhere that wasnt just about the location or facilities. Of course, location and hotel were fantastic. But we fell in love with the service and people. Big thanks to Nina and the team at reception! We got a little room upgrade and it was perfect. They even remembered our plans and gave the best recommendations for brunch!
And even bigger thank you to Luis at the bar. The drinks and keeping my drunk boyfriend laughing made a great night!
Definitely will be back!

Love bringing my godkids and their mum here forusually smart dining and good ambience. We were the sole diners at 6pm so should get brilliant service and chef to ourself. However I should have noticed early doors, waitress did not ask us for drink refills. We were all thirsty and had juices but then would have ordered cocktails and cokes but waitress did not engage with us. Then I should have noticed all fries prepared ahead of mains and sitting on warm counter. My medium rare fillet was served medium. My godkids poussin was dried out so overcooked, salmon was overcooked and singed but eaten by second godchild , poussin was left intact on plate. Pork also served overcooked but at least no health issues here. Shall leave this place alone and call it a foodand service disaster.

A complete let down. We booked through Amex at a higher price which included a complimentary upgrade when available. At check in, the receptionist with dark hair and blue eyes lied to us and said they were fully booked and no upgrade was possible. In fact, we checked there were plenty of rooms available for booking online.

The location of the hotel is very convenient and the atmosphere is elevated and sophisticated. The team was very accommodating and friendly, especially Nienke who has been super nice.

Wonderful lounge downstairs, nice restaurant, bar. Excellent air conditioning on hot days. Comfortable bed, love that the bed was positioned to look out the windows. Excellent location, friendly and personable staff. Restaurant provides reasonably priced à la carte breakfast, and there are other breakfast options within walking distance.

We were very kindly upgraded and given two free drinks to redeem at the bar. Check-in was lovely, thanks to Sophie, and the hand-written note was a lovely touch. The bed was so so comfortable and we’d definitely stay again. We visited in a heatwave and were so grateful for the air con in our room. We loved the water and milk in the fridge. It was definitely a plus to have a fridge in our room, something that’s often missing from hotel rooms now. As I have to store medication in the fridge, it made our trip less stressful. It was so easy for us to request a black cab to get back to the station, and the location was great for a trip to the theatre.
