Comfortable bed
No breakfast
The bed was great and it was quiet at night. The staff were nice.
The hotel is very run down, doesn't look like in the photos. We had no hot water in the bathroom and the shower wouldn't work. The batter on the fish was terrible, the worst we have ever eaten.
A very comfy bed and good sized room to stay in with plenty of tea and coffee and a fresh bottle of water a nice touch
Expected to arrive late so phoned ahead to see when food would stop as the reason chosen hotel was a pub with food. Expected it maybe to have finished by 9:00 but finished at 6. Still we thought nice breakfast to look forward too, note in room said ask at the bar for breakfast, we asked told no breakfast as needed minimum of 6 people for it to be done.
The room we booked was spacious and comfortable. The location was good: near to the beach and town centre for eating iut, takeaways or grabbing groceries at the Co-op nearby.
Great location and comfy bed.
Quite noisy outside at night, not the property’s fault and felt the bathroom could be modernised.
Proximity
Our room door did not lock when we left it to go to the bar
Parking
Almost all . Not clean , no toilet paper, get different room than I booked
Heating 93 degrees / no effort to help
Love the place as good for dog walking and near to Arbroath to visit family. Hotel very doggie friendly.
No breakfast available unless hotel is fully booked, although room was clean , litter in drawer hadn't been emptied
Location
Staff, no breakfast, radiators on all day, no food options, loud pub below
