BUDGET HOTEL. BASED ON MY STAY, I'd RECOMMEND
Pros:

Hot water for shower everytime!. Clean towels provided soap etc if needed.
Great WiFi.
Clean bedding.
Peter was brilliant.
Location 2 minutes from St Chad's tram stop.
Plenty of brew kit when ya need it, can help yourself as and when!
It is a budget place so just expect what you do, all depends what your trip is needed for to be honest or expectations.
My stay was mainly for pleasure beach, no specific or special event and to get away.
As a female solo traveller, I felt safe which is a big issue for me but I knew Peter would be around if needed.

Cons:

New mattress needed ttb and yes a few issues here and there lol but I knew or had an idea when booking a budget place, but based on my stay, reason, my budget at this time, hot water, shower, Peter, brew kit, clean bedding solo traveller I would recommend

Pros:

Good location, short walk from the pleasure beach. Lots of toiletries etc. Very helpful and friendly staff with good communication.

Cons:

Everything is extremely old and in need of renovation but you expect that from the price. As long as you are not anticipating somewhere new and sparkly clean then you'll feel safe and comfortable enough for a short stay

Excellent location only 5 minutes walk to be the sea front, room was a good size and we were met by a lovely gentleman called Peter whi showed us to our room

Cons:

Not the cleanest hotel and had the very strong musty smell throughout. The bed sheets were very worn and decor is extremely poor. Wouldn’t stay here again. Only stayed as was one of very few hotels that could accommodate our party size at short notice (2 hours before check-in) after our previous booking had cancelled on us.

Cleanliness was horrific and shouldn't be able to rent out the room. Cigarette ash on window sill. Full of damp and mould. Bedding was brown. Absolutely disgusting and the guy who is the manager has no customer service skills what so ever. Highly rude and grumpy made us all feel uneasy.
