Hotel was super cute and staff very friendly and helpful
Room service is terrible
Receptionist are terrible
They don’t even pick up the phone for $600 a night or more I expect better service
Nothing is delivered on time
The Receptionist is so tiny for the amount of people that are staying in the hotel so they cannot deliver
Incredibly stylish hotel in a completely updated former factory building. Very popular bar and restaurant in lobby. Rooms were elegant and thoughtfully appointed. Would definitely stay there again.
I have experienced a problematic experience during my stay.
Basically Paris was around 13 to 22 degrees celcius and the air conditioning was broken during my whole stay, they offered me portable heaters. The phones were out during my stay, they offered to message over whatsup app if I needed any hotel services and so. But it takes to for the to answer. One night I arrived at my room and see that the room cleaning service did not put any hand or floor towels at the room. I messaged them 3 times they did not even return my messages. I tried to call the hotel lobby from outside to check their messages but like I said their phone system is out.
They forget to put towels twice!!!
They give to bottles of complimentary water, they forget to put that too once. It gave me the feeling that I should check everything when I arrive in my room if anything is forgotten. This is not a comfortable feeling.
Plus for the room, its cosy and comfortable, my only concern is that the bath needs space around the sink area to put the personal items. The light lumen is low around the sink area, I have had hard time during my beard shaving.
Quite nice location, hotel looks nice. But I would expect much better for the amount I paid for the room.
Bathroom was not a separate room
Busy hotel
Nice rooms
Helpful staff
The reception desk was so accommodating and friendly. The wait staff in the restaurant was so pleasant.
Great atmosphere at the hotel, well
Located :)
Very clean hotel . Staff very nice
I was happy with the hotel, they do need to update the showers!
Comfortable, great service, amazing property. Will be returning.
I have been to Hoxton hotel in other cities and was happy with my stay. That’s why I first checked Hoxton Paris. The location is perfect for my trip. Price wise I think I am paying for the location and the style. Not great, but it was fine at the time I didn’t find other better choices. Staffs are nice and helpful,
The room is fairly clean. Sewer smell in the bathroom, not strong.
The first night was cold because Ac was set to 21 degree and it couldn’t be turned off. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling the cold breeze directly to the bed. I contacted the staff and they explained how to turn off the fan. By the end there was an issue with AC and I couldn’t get up to get further help at the night. They sent technician on the second day and fixed it.
The mattress is ok. The bed linen is not. Texture is rough, more like what you get from a student hall. One pillow is super flat with no support on the neck, and a hole on the pillow case. The other pillow is bumpy. I think the stuffing inside needs to be replaced.
The limescale on the shower head may need to be cleared. There is definitely some blockage. Water splashing everywhere.
After all, the location is great, staffs are nice, room is quiet. But I won’t consider it as my first choice of future trips to Paris. I will check for other options.
The staff were amazing and drinks great, Its the place to be on a friday and saturday night.
Staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and accommodating.
Internet access was patchy.
Food was very good.
We stay at the hoxton every time we come to Paris due to the spacious rooms and reasonable price. You get more space for your money compared to similar priced boutique hotels. It can be very crowded and noisy on the weekends —lots of locals come and hang out and drink at the bar. If you like to party late at night and don’t mind the noise, it’s great. If you want a quiet hotel, stay somewhere else or maybe don’t book here on a weekend. It’s conveniently located near the metro (Bonne nouvelle and grand boulevard stations) and walking distance to the louvre, seine, and opera. Breakfast can be included with your room and it’s a proper sit-down breakfast, not buffet, which is great. But service is very slow and the food comes out cold every time. I would skip the breakfast and go to a local boulangerie instead. The restaurant is the only thing that didn’t impress me, otherwise it’s a great hotel.
Spacious
Loved our stay at The Hoxton!
Loved it
We had a great stay here! One oddity- they are very serious about eco friendliness, however, there are no hooks in the bathroom. Not even a place to put the toilet paper adhered to the wall. Due to nowhere to hang towels to dry, even a hand towel, we needed our room services far more often than we have like over our 6 day stay.
Maybe they forgot to add them in our bathroom?
Bonus: free bike rentals! With helmets!
The room was spacious and well designed, rested in a heritage building. I love Hoxton hotels, but the Paris branch was badly managed. I stayed there for 6 nights. The rooms were not cleaned thoroughly, surfaces not wiped down. The most upsetting thing was, dirty cups were not taken away and replaced with clean ones. Tea bags, coffee, clean spoons, water and milk were not replenished. I had to call the front desk everyday to have this done, which was a hassle. They don’t have bathrobes or slippers. I ordered a ‘Le Petite Breakfast’ which advertised to have 1 banana, 1 yoghurt and 1 orange juice. I received 1 yoghurt and 2 apples with no notice (I’m allergic to apples), this is just lazy. Overall, I was genuinely disappointed in the hotel.
