Nice place to stay, just no in-room laundry.

Felt cramped for 4 people once sleeping arrangements set up (tatami mats), limited space for luggage. No in-room laundry.

Lovely staff, great location and close to both Inaricho and Ueno stations and food places

Pros:

Room was big for my 4 people family which you cannot always find in Japan. Staff was very polite and supportive all the time. Location was great - 10 minute walking distance to Ueno and Inaricho stations. Thanks for everything :)

It is still one of our Mimaru family spots.
Pros:

The front counter staff is always friendly and helpful. It is close to combini stores and the train stop. The luggage transport is available. There is a communal laundry area. It is quiet. It is comfortable for 4 people or less.

Cons:

The twin beds were a bit uncomfortable. The carpet had stains. It needs to be deep clean.

The Mimaru is a fantastic place to stay
Pros:

This is the second time our family have stayed at a Mimaru in Tokyo. We loved the Ueno Inachario. The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is fabulous - quiet and super close to the train and the rooms are clean and spacious.

A good area to start your Tokyo/Japan journey
Pros:

Great location for transportation and walking to Ueno Park and main attractions like Senso-ji temple and nightlife at Ameyoko. Quiet neighborhood with many small restaurants. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The bedroom area was smaller than it appeared in the photos.
