Mistakes can happen in hospitality; forgetting to place a key is an honest human error that could easily be forgiven if handled with basic professionalism and accountability. What is completely unacceptable—and frankly inexcusable—is the total lack of emergency response, followed by the management’s appalling attitude the next morning.

We had booked a transit stay for our family with explicit written confirmation via Booking.com that keys would be left outside due to our late arrival. Arriving around midnight with young children:
The property was pitch dark, completely locked, and no key was left.
Emergency numbers went straight to voicemail, WhatsApp messages were delivered and ignored, and a second emergency number posted on the reception door was never answered.
Stranded on the street at 01:00 AM, we were forced to scramble for emergency shelter at an open 24-hour chain hotel nearby at substantial extra cost.
The real outrage came the following morning. Instead of taking ownership and offering a sincere apology, the owner resorted to deflection: claiming he had no missed calls, blaming us for not calling earlier that day, and flatly refusing to cover the cost difference of the emergency stay.
On paper, this seemed like the ideal transit stop, particularly with on-site EV charging. In reality, having EV chargers is entirely useless if you cannot even get into your room to sleep.
Booking.com intervened, validated our claim, and covered the price difference after reviewing all the evidence. As for the hotel: I wouldn’t stay here again even if passing right outside their door. An absolute travel risk.

행복했던 기억의 호텔
Pros:

우리 아이들 첫 유럽여행의 첫 숙소 였습니다. 너무 예쁘고 방은 넓고 편안했어요. 바에서 파는 맥주는 훌륭했고 아침 조식도 풍족했습니다. 일찍간 우리가족에게 스크램블이 나중에 모자라는 경우가 있다며 미리 챙겨주기도 했어요. 우리처럼 어린 아이들과 함께하는 가족들이 많이 보였어요. 아침에 일어나 호텔 주변을 둘러본 아이들이 티비에 나온것처럼 너무 예쁜 곳이라며 처음 방문한 독일의 기억을 더욱 행복하게 만들어 준 숙소에요.

Fijn hotel voor een tussenstop
Pros:

Niet te ver van de snelweg, dus prima voor een tussenstop. Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Je kunt zo vanuit het hotel een wandeling maken in het bos. Prima keuken een goed ontbijt. Handig dat je de auto bij het hotel kunt laden, wel onduidelijk wat de prijs is.

Cons:

We waren iets vroeger en bij de meeste hotels kun je dan wel terecht als de kamers klaar zijn, hier werd zeer kortaf gereageerd dat het ‘natuurlijk’ niet kon.

Pros:

Location wise it was very good as it was on our route from Austria to Netherlands. Easy access to the freeway.

A restaurant is available with good food.

Overall, for the money, it's a great hotel, especially when travelling.

Staff was nice and were clear in communication.

Cons:

The shower could had some more attention as we found some left over hairs from the previous guest.

Pros:

Le parking, la grande salle de bains adaptée à une personne PMR et une famille, le personnel et le jardin

Cons:

Propreté moyenne (moutons sous les lits), mauvaise évacuation du lavabo, absence de bouilloire, plinthes mal fixées, bruits +++ d'une rue à très grande circulation
