Room and bathroom were clean. I liked the fridge in the room. Also, really appreciated the helpful communication from Joan.

Clean with easy check-in
Shower has poor lighting and difficult to use. Noisy with people continuously coming and going. Lack of en-suite toilet is inconvenient. Feels a slightly dodgy part of town with few conveniences nearby.
Joan is always so accommodating even when my plans change last minute due to family health issues. This is a great place to stay and it is in a great, quiet location very close to the town centre.

The mattress was comfortable and looked to be reasonably clean.
Hidden £100 deposit where they denied access until paid. No toilet in the room. Only a shared communal toilet. The shower in the room was dodgy and needed fixing. The shared communal showers were cold. The decor desperately needs updating.
Not far from the station (10-minute walk perfect for backpackers) no-fuss accommodation. Room was clean and comfortable and (most important) extremely quiet and peaceful. If you don't mind shared bathroom (there are two shower/toilet/vanity rooms on the second floor) it's perfect. The room I stayed in had its own shower and vanity. WiFi works - if you just need a quiet place to crash in a decent price range I highly recommend this place.
Might not work for people with mobility issues. If you're squeamish about sharing a toilet with other guest rooms. But I had no problem with either.
Box room in attic , no welcome overall bolchy manager
Cobwebs all over, furniture too big for room ,had to move stuff round to see t.v shared bathroom
Lovely Victorian building, spacious room and good bathroom/shower facilities - and Joan’s help in getting access to the accommodation
Maybe one or two updating issues eg. Kettle in Room 2
Joan is a very communicative host. The room was spacious and clean. The location is great for dining in town.
