Det er et skønt og hyggeligt hytteområde beliggende med nem adgang via bus til York. Bade- og toiletforhold er fint, alt fungerer.
Vi benyttede den tilstødende café, hvor vi fik skøn morgenmad.
Vi nød vores ophold
Alt var perfekt. Vi kunne dog godt ha’ brugt, at der lå en karklud eller lignende til at tørre havebord og stole af, efter det havde regnet.
Eller f.eks. til at tørre op ved evt spild ved kaffebrygning.
My own space, room to sit out and eat my tea. Really comfy bed and pillows. Liked the heater for the evening chill.
It was a bit dark inside, the lights were only over the bed, nothing the other end and the lack of socket at the bed end. But they are just niggles.
The pod itself was gorgeous. More like a hotel room than a pod and the little details like the log burner and tea a d coffee facilities mean I will happily return.
It was so tranquil and I loved being able to fully relax x

A hidden gem, peaceful and quiet.Very well maintained .Very clean.Bed in Yurt ,the Best bed ive slept in.Very accommodating too when booking.Great that it was adult only.
Nothing at all to complain about
Loved the peace of the location. Beautifully arranged within the yurt and very comfortable bed. Evert amenity in the room was appreciated, especially the unexpectedly plentiful plug sockets! No need for the lovely log burner but really appreciated the fan!
Whole site was clean and tidy. Sad i only had one night but will definitely return for longer.

I loved everything from the very informed details for checking in, the arrival at the beautiful campsite, the gorgeous pod which was so deliciously romantic.

Amazing place and would recommend. We stayed in the Yurt (no availability in a pod). The Yurt exceeded our expectations. It has a fridge, heater, tea and coffee facilities. It was cozy and warm. The wash facilities were clean and tidy. The cafe nextdoor is a few mins walk away and the full english breakfast was lovely. There is a bus every hour to York right outside or you can get an Uber for around £12. It's about 10 mins drive away.
Nothing really. If I had to say one thing it would be that it would be great if in the fridge lockers you could buy milk or bottles of water other than what you already have. We expected the cafe and gift shop nextdoor would have some but they don't sell it. We should have brought some and been more prepared.
Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner and a dog and in fairness, it exceeded my expectations! You gotta book these pods to experience it yourself! It’s situated in a very green and quiet area yet just a drive away to the city centre. Self check-in/out instructions were communicated very well, and facilities were fantastic. Definitely worth the money!
The only minor issues for me were the:
1. Bed size- not really tall-people friendly,
2. wall hooks (for coats?)- oddly installed next to the electric sockets, fuse &heater (in Owl pod)
Otherwise, everything is great!
