My favorite part of my accommodations while visiting Japan.
Pros:

I loved the big rooms, the friendly staff, and the ability to be laundry. So close to nishiki market and so many other things, so very convenient. And the complimentary croissants were a plus!

Comfortable, friendly staff, nice amenities (coffee/tea, free use of laundry machines). Also conveniently located in a very walkable area.

Cons:

Could occasionally hear noise from people coming in to the building, but only during the day (wasn't a problem while trying to sleep).

Pros:

The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The room is in a traditional style, cleaned every day, all the amenities are present, tea, coffee, and fresh croissants are free every day. Near the hotel there is a samurai ninja museum, a market, and restaurants. By taxi, which you can order at the hotel, you can get to the Gion area, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and Kyoto Station inexpensively. Everything was great! Thank you very much!

Lovely, quiet boutique hotel with super staff. The location is excellent.
Pros:

No breakfast but they supplied recommendations and directions for meals in the area.
Free laundry machines.
Small, intimate feel.

Perfektes Hotel in Kyoto
Pros:

Alles war fantastisch! Wirklich ein super Hotel mit freundlichem Personal, super sauberen Zimmern, ein mega bequemes und riesiges Bett, jeden Tag frische Croissants, Wasser und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer. Und das Zimmer war perfekt ausgestattet mit einer kleinen Küchenecke mit Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle und Bügeleisen. Die kleine Sitzecke und der Schreibtisch machen das Zimmer komplett. Es ist einfach alles da was man braucht. Die Lage ist genial mit sehr vielen Möglichkeiten zum Essen gehen oder Kaffee trinken direkt um die Ecke. Dabei war es im Hotel (sogar auf der Strassenseite) sehr ruhig. Wir würden sofort wieder im Miru Kyoto Nishiki übernachten. Einfach perfekt!

Cons:

Es war schade, dass wir unsere Fahrräder nicht vor dem Hotel über Nacht parken konnten. Das wäre noch ganz nett gewesen.

Lovely stay in Kyoto
Pros:

• The room was really lovely, with lots of ambient lighting and a comfy bed
• Smart TV with streaming services, including Disney+ which wasn’t common for other hotels I stayed at during my trip
• It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the hotel, that could be used at no extra charge
• The lady at the check-in desk was super friendly and allowed me to check in an hour earlier with no issues
• Daily croissants was a nice touch!
• Relatively close to the heart of Kyoto by foot if you’re up for a nice walk

Cons:

• Personal preference, but I didn’t like not having a separate shower (it was only a shower/bath combo with a curtain)

Beautiful room and a very warm welcome
Pros:

Lovely friendly staff, beautiful and spacious room, and so clean! In a quiet street but close to Nishiki Market. Loved this hotel.

Cons:

I was in a room near reception and it could be a bit noisy until 11pm, usually nothing big just staff members chatting and the noise carried. They did quiet down after that but wasn't easy to get an early night. Its a very small thing but something to go with the complimentary croissants (e.g. butter) would be great :)
