Amazing staff
Pros:

Amazing rooms and amenities. This place is a lovely hotel in a great location. The staff really made the stay even better. Friendly, helpful and go above and beyond without even asking. Thank you.

Pros:

This was my favorite hotel during our whole month in japan. Plenty of room, coffee maker, laundry, friendly staff! I think this location was actually better than staying near kyoto station.there is a small station nearby and the bus line a few blocks away. Easy walk to the river and an excellent grocery store.

Pros:

We had a wonderful five days staying in the Miru Kyoto. The hotel was excellent, very clean, great beds, fantastic helpful staff with a perfect central location. The croissants in the morning were an extra bonus.

Hôtel confortable, environnement trop touristique.
Pros:

- Rafraichissement journalier de la chambre (renouvellement des bouteilles d’eau…).
- Personnel très aimable et disponible.
- Petits croissants chaque matin appréciés.
- Bonne insonorisation et mon souhait d’être au dernier étage à été honoré.

Cons:

- L’emplacement ne nous convenait absolument pas (ambiance trop occidentale et touristique).
- Hôtel destiné aux touristes n’offrant pas une expérience japonaise authentique.
- Machine à laver constamment occupée par la clientèle.
- Manque de produits en libre service.

Pros:

Me encantó todo. Ubicación inmejorable pero a la vez en una calle tranquila. Buena insonorización entre habitaciones. Te dejan un croissant todas las mañanas y cápsulas de café con su máquina correspondiente.

Felt myself relax every time I stepped back into the hotel after a long day on my feet.
Pros:

The location was ideal for roaming, tucked into a quiet street with Nishiki Market nearby. It's walkable to the train station, Gion, and the Imperial Palace--a solid 30 minutes. Nijo Castle is a little farther. If that doesn't suit you, it was easy to catch a bus or the metro and I used Go for a taxi when needed. The staff was so friendly and they let me check in early. I loved my Japanese style room. Even though near reception, it was quiet at all times.

Cons:

If I'm quibbling, breakfast service besides a croissant in a bag would have been nice, but I didn't feel the lack with so many places to eat in the area, plus a Lawson down the street.
