The girl at the front desk was friendly
We were on the fifth floor and the elevator did not extend to the fifth floor , so we had to use stairs to get to the fifth level. The room was quite small, and we kept hitting our knees on the wood end of the bed. It was also quite far to walk to the downtown. Breakfast was just OK.
Lovely hotel, staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was great. We didn't use the leisure facilities but they looked as they should. Hotel was quiet at night. Great swimming areas close by so easy to get to the beach etc...the swimming areas were just that, for swimming. The area felt very safe, even after dark, nice area.
Not so much that we didn't like but be aware, It's a little off the beaten track, that said once you got your bearings it worked for us. Easy walk to the city (20 mins). It is uphill on the way back...Taxi driver struggled to find it first time-none of this is a fault of the hotel.
Staff friendly and helpful
The pool is beautiful and the breakfast is amazing. We loved getting our steps in by walking to the centre of town.
The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection and good quality. The spa area was clean and pleasant, and overall it was a nice place to relax.
Access to the hotel is quite poor. The surrounding roads are very narrow and difficult to navigate, and parking is limited. Even though the stay had already been fully paid, the hotel still insisted on an additional cash deposit or a credit card as security.
The room was very disappointing, especially considering the price and how highly the hotel positions its accommodation. The view was directly towards a residential apartment block, with balconies and laundry hanging outside, which was definitely not what we expected from a hotel in this price category.

A very nice and cool swimming pool. Great location overlooking the sea. An easy downhill stroll to get to the historic part of Split.
A few of the rooms are gloomy with only a view to a stone wall 3 meters away.

The shower is open so it floods the floor, a death trap due to the smooth tiles, see photo.
The toilet seat was loos, not hard to miss should have been sorted before our arrival, see photo.
The barroom fan runs for hours, all night and all day, very noisy. The hotel answer was to isolate the electric by removing the key card, so then no lights and no air conditioning, were also advised many guests made the same complaint.
There were staines all over the carpet and dirty marks in the walls.
The air conditioning was ineffective
The room sometimes had the smell of excrement.
There wasn’t enough condiments at breakfast room, had to pester other guests for theirs.
Their advert says includes taxes but it doesn’t include the city tax, a big con.
The bread was unsliced and some guests used their hands without protection to hold the bed when cutting. absolutely disgusting, bread should be sliced so this cannot happen.

First hotel ever that didn’t have a toasting facility.
The view was good from the balcony and the reception staff were helpful but they couldn’t cure the systemic problems decided or not resolved by the management.
The breakfast was amazing — truly so many choices. I loved the bacon, but there were endless options: cheeses, olives, fresh fish, eggs, pastries, and more. The coffee was wonderful as well, and the macchiato was my favorite way to start the morning.
The room was wonderful, and we had a beautiful balcony that made the stay feel extra special. It was very hot during our visit, and I do wish the AC could have gone lower than 19°C — it would have made the nights a bit more comfortable.
Everything was amazing. The staff was so attentive and charming. It’s the only hotel I’d ever visit in Croatia. Food was so good!!
It was exceptional. No complaints.
