Location sucks. Only one way out and can’t get to opposite lane on McFarland.

Not surprised this hotel’s #1. It’s fabulous, friendly and accommodating. The staff is personable and welcoming. Well managed and clean. Hot water, secure parking lot. Worth the awkward entry from I-20 East that a u- turn.

Breakfast is beyond compare with great quality and variety.
Only problem was the strong smell of skunk weed on our floor, the evening of our stay and the following morning.
Overall, this hotel was a good value for the price and is in a great area. The room met my needs, but there was a noticeable smoke smell throughout my stay that affected the overall experience. The included breakfast was okay, but it was not the Waffle House breakfast I was expecting. Despite those issues, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning if the smoke odor is addressed.
Workout room was nice.
Need to get a new clerk for checking in as he was slower than molasses and was not welcoming (never smiled).
Wallpaper needs to be replaced (especially at elevators).
Tiles are cracked in elevator.
Stain on wall in room 306.
