Mon séjour était incroyable.
Pros:

L’hôtel est très bien situé. Le personnel était agréable et accueillant, et le petit-déjeuner était varié et copieux.

Pros:

Bel hôtel en plein cœur de Stone Town. Excellent accueil (merci en particulier à Lucas, le très serviable portier masaï). Belle terrasse pour le petit-déjeuner, avec une splendide vue sur l’église anglicane.

Cons:

La mosquée toute proche peut s’avérer dérangeante (longues prières). Un double vitrage serait une bonne idée.

Very good location to discover Stone Town, nice staff and good facilities

Cons:

Impossibility to sleep later than 4:30 am due to chickens (roosters) singing without stopping from 4:30 until the morning.; I informed the hotel reception, but they could not change me to another room

Tolles Hotel mit europäischen Standard
Pros:

Gute Lage und europäischen Standard. Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte gute Betten mit gefüllter Bettdecke. Das Personal war auch super freundlich. Das Hotel ist nur zu Fuß erreichbar - was kein Problem ist, aber man vorher wissen sollte. Nachts auschecken war auch kein Problem. Das Hotel ist etwas teurer, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt.

Breakfast on the rooftop
Pros:

Great hotel to stay in Stone Town, definitely recommended. Breakfast is offered on the rooftop with views over the city. The reception was very kind to store my backpack on my last day after checkout, thank you. The bed was really comfortable.

Cons:

The whole place feels pretty overpriced for what you are getting, but then again so does all of Stone Town during the high tourist season. The room felt quite stuffy, with no ventilation since it's a small compartment with a tiny window that opens up to a narrow alleyway. For the price this place cost you can get a much nicer hotel in Dar, for instance.
