Great vibe, great onsen, very friendly staff!
Aesthetically very nice, friendly staff, walkable to (non beginner) slopes, the hot tub, meals.
The small cabin-like bathroom.
Onsen and the beds are great. Breakfast in the morning is pretty decent too. Only western style so just be expecting that. Rooms are nicely done as well. The dinners at night are a definite to try at least once as well. We also enjoyed the fact the staff were more than willing to drop us off for dinner when going out and pick us up later that night.
Bathroom in rooms are pretty tight just use the Onsen and toilets around the lodge. Make sure your rental car has decent winter tyres that driveway is not a joke when it snows decently.
Loved the onsen each day to relax the muscles after a day on the slopes. Generous sized bedroom. We had an amazing time and enjoyed the cheap ski passes purchased at the accom each day, saving time in the morning.

We had a wonderful stay at Momiji - everything was perfect and lived up to the reviews! Staff were very helpful, friendly and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend and hope to be back!
The bed could have been a bit comfier but understand it is Japanese futon style.
It was a very cozy quiet place. The private Onsens were very relaxing, a short walk to the ski area. The food was amazing!
It’s a bit of a drive to Happo but not a big deal.
From picking us up from our train to helping us with dinner bookings and ski rentals, Julian, Tomoko, and staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. A big breakfast was the perfect way to start the day, with the baths a great way to unwind after a day on the slopes. Easily accessible to 2 great resort areas just out the door. We ate dinner there nearly every night and it was a great way to experience amazing Japanese food.

Everything. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the facilities were outstanding, it felt like a nice home for the week we stayed here, perfect location for just up the street from a ski lift. A little bit out of the main part of Hakuba, but there’s a bus stop at the end of the street too a short walk away. The food was amazing, such variation every night and so delicious! Would 100% love to stay here again

This was one of the best ski holidays we have been on. The hotel was beautiful - amazing décor, comfortable room, great private onsen and shared spaces, most delicious food (English breakfast and mostly Japanese dinner), helpful staff. The location is really on the slopes of Norikura (which is linked to Cortina), and an easy walk to the shuttle bus for access to the rest of the Hakuba resorts. Hotel provides pick up and drop off from local train/bus stations, so we really didn't need to rent a car. We opted for the half board option and just really relaxed and enjoyed skiing and chilling in the hotel.
The ambience! Really warm and tasteful decor and overall atmosphere. Spacious and well equipped room, tasty breakfast and gourmet dinners. Lovely private baths.
