Venezia Suites Resort

Very happy with my 4-night stay at Venezia Suites Resort. I’d booked a Superior Suite (1 bedroom with refrigerator and pool view): a large room with everything I needed plus a good size ensuite. Bed was big and comfortable and all linen was clean with high standard of housekeeping services provided. Property is managed by a husband-and-wife team who were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in my stay and there are a number of choices available of good quality food. Everything I wanted was within a reasonable walking distance and I usually walked to Alona Beach (20 to 30 minutes) but if you don’t feel like walking trikes are plentiful and the trip each way is not expensive. I arranged my own transfers to and from the ferry terminal. The only possible downsides I would mention:
• It’s what I would consider a budget hotel, so you are getting what you are paying for
• The room had some type of emergency system with LED lights and these are quite bright, which interfered with my ability to sleep
• I don’t think the TV works, but this wasn’t an issue for me, as I wasn’t really interested in watching TV
• There is a small international airport on Panglao island and I got woken up every morning around 1am…but this could be an issue regardless of where you are staying
• The swimming pool is cleaned every day, but I couldn’t smell any chlorine and the water looked a bit cloudy. I was happy to cool down in it for a few laps, but I kept my head above the water.

This reservation was made on behalf of my son. Airport transfer was requested with full flight details given at the time of booking. Resort states airport transfer available yet no transport arrived. No communication from the resort. The resort have not yet registered their vehicles so impossible to arrange airport transfer. This is mis-leading and a disgrace to your management. c.c. file

The office manager was doing all the work to run the hotel which led to poor service and maintenance of the hotel. The pool was murky and the water running through the faucets were slow and dirty.

We thought the staff was very accommodating and kind, they also spoke English well. We even got the chance to meet the owner who was very nice and knowledgeable, however I would not stay here again. All of the furniture was falling apart literally, the cable did not work nor did we have hot water, the kitchen sink was hanging off the hinges and the bathroom was disgusting. There was bugs everywhere and no drinking water. We woke up one morning to no power, wifi, or running water for a few hours. The staff informed us that the hotel was under renovations however it was not acceptable. I had a big group and was only in town for two nights so we just stuck it out. I would not recommend this hotel until after renovations.

The property itself has a lovely pool. The staff are great. Alona the manager can't do enough to make the stay a happy one.
Facities generally good for philippines. It is a couple of yo the main beach so quieter and family friendly. A motorbike (350 php a day from Alina beach) or trike is a good idea. Great street food across the road.

Alors de manière très objective le personnel est vraiment adorable et fera tout pour que vous vous sentiez bien. Cependant l’hôtel est excentre (a 2km d’Alona) et ma fenêtre de chambre donnait sur un mur situé à 30cm autant dire que j’étais dans le noir. Pas ou peu d’eau qui évidemment était froide. L’eau de la piscine était trouble ça ne donnait pas envie. Bref séjour moyen je ne peux pas recommander

It was okay but a bit far from stores & restaurants. The great thing is it’s pretty quiet & appears clean. We slept well during our stay.

Nice stay. Clean rooms. A half hour walk out of Alona Beach, situated down a dark lane, so not good to walk at night but only P50 tricycle ride.

1 tricycle ride away from Alona Beach. Their service is excellent. They will try to accommodate your requests as much as they can. Really spacious rooms. Wifi signal is a bit poor in the room but okay in the reception/dining area. Overall it was a nice stay. Was able to relax

Séjour exceptionnel car le personnel est qualifié compétent et disponible à l'écoute de la clientèle. Ambiance familiale qui plaira particulièrement aux personnes qui aiment le calme.

Mon séjour a été marqué malheureusement par un accident de scooter heureusement le personnel a pris soin de moi et m'a aidé quand aux démarches à faire pour l'accident aussi bien que leur présence à mes côté à l'hopital..
sinon l'hôtel est trés bien avec une piscine dans un lieu agréable dommage que je n'ai pu en profiter

주변이 한적해서 알로나비치까지 왔다갔다 하는 번거로움이 있지만 툭툭불러주셔서 타고 가면 금방가고 오히려 조용해서 좋았어요!! 방도 가격대비 넓고 깨끗해요~

We stayed just one night after extending our stay and we were very impressed! The room was huge and very clean with a good shower and AC. We appreciated having the large container of drinking water as most hotels had only small bottles contributing to a lot more plastic waste. They also had a ton of TV channels (including English ones). The pool was refreshing though we wished there were outside showers. We had a car and it was very nice to have parking bit without a car or scooter it didn’t seem to be walking distance to anything. Breakfast was a little disappointing compared to other similarly priced hotels we stayed at in Bohol. They had the usual eggs and toast or rice but no fresh fruit and no milk for Nescafé coffee just creamer. Service was very pleasant overall!

Its an amazing place. Accomodating host the owner themselves. Thank you for upgrading us to family room.
