Great stay .
Pros:

Location and staff amazing .
Loved the bungalows as felt very authentic.
Right on the beach and the staff were great .

Cons:

The bins & towels could have done with being emptied & changed daily .
As soon as we asked they did do it though .

Nice location for access to different areas of Koh Samui
Pros:

Good location on the beach. We just stayed one night before flying as it is close to the airport

Beautiful view, but beware of pitfalls.....
Pros:

The beach view was amazing. Free wifi, plus reusable glass bottles of filtered water, close to amenities and shops. The aircon was extremely effective and a nice big fridge. The staff at Bangrak Pier were lovely, and we were offered to stay in the bungalow a few extra nights which was very nice of them. Unfortunately they only mentioned this as we were just about the leave the property at 11am on checkout having packed everything up, but the upgrade was appreciated none the less!

Cons:

This property is cleverly advertised. You should be aware when booking it that this property sits behind two others and to access the property you need to effectively walk down an alley way filled with motorbikes and the family's belongings strewn down it. The family were lovely, but for us it felt like we were invading their privacy. If you don't mind walking past them having dinner, the underpants drying on the washing etc you're good!

Underneath the balcony of the property is quite a lot of rubbish (old broken chairs, bags of rubbish, broken umbrellas and other items) which needs a good tidy up. There were also teenagers hanging out underneath the balcony at night. There were two beach loungers, but one was broken. The stairs from the balcony to the beach are extremely steep and tiled so extreme care was needed when using them and these would not at all be suitable for young children or those with mobility issues. The bathroom also needed a renovation.

You also need to be aware that to receive housekeeping, you need to ask for it which we didn't realise until day 3 of 6. There is a fairly confusingly labelled QR code on the table saying 'taxi, laundry' etc but this wasn't explained to us on arrival. Even when we did request it on day 3, the housekeeper didn't show, finally appearing on day 4 following another request.

There was also significant communication breakdowns over our stay - on arrival we were told we could use the pool at Erawan hotel (about three doors up from the apartment) which was beautiful and which we used on our second day, but when we used it on our third day, we were then unceremoniously booted out as Erawan had been privately booked for the weekend.

Finally, the beach. Whilst this isn't a reflection on the property, you should be aware that due to the volume of boats that use Bangrak Pier, the water is extremely polluted and not 'crystal clear'. It actually put us off swimming in the sea.

Lovely place to stay for one night on the island !
Pros:

Amazing room and right next to the beach . The staff are also very kind and helpful ! They let us stay a bit longer after check out time :) It was the most comfortable bed we stayed in our whole trip .

Cons:

It is right next to the main road so unfortunately we could hear the traffic at night .
