Grand Hôtel de la Basilique

Problème des parkings à Lourdes....

Good

The hotel is very much close to Sanctuary, that is the biggest advantage we enjoyed . Basically it is 100 meters way. The food also good. They served set menu for lunch and Dinner. Breakfast only buffer. the problem with breakfast was they took time to refill the food and we have to wait. It was bit annoying. There were friendly and supportive staff and at the same time bit annoying fussy staff as well.
Rooms are small but well clean. We enjoyed free Wifi.. It was a good stay!

It's very close to the church and shops. Also there are so many restaurants around.

We were booked for 5 nights and stayed only 2 nights , we were given a twin room which had 1 bed blocking the bathroom door , a safety issue!
Corridors were strewn with dirty used bed linen and were in need of a good vacuuming .
Staff were horrible , no respect or care for any visitors , they were so unhelpful !
Food or Slop as I would call it was dreadful and staff didnt care that food was uneaten!
The entrance to this so called hotel had a dangerous little ramp to one side of steps and definitely is a health and safety issue!!
I would never recommend this place as they dont provide any service at all.
They should be ashamed of themselves

Stayed here for 3 nights in August 2016 for 3 people, we had the first floor facing the main street, clean room, very convenient to shops, very close to Basilica and Grotto, our room has no air conditioning.

Booked here for five nights, never even stayed one night. We were given a tiny filthy smelly room which was only fit for one person and we were a party of three.when we complained we were dismissed by an old man who put his head down and would not speak to us.As we had booked full board we returned each day for meals.On our return the first day we were told to eat wherever we were staying, when we refused we sat and were sarved lunch. Food was not nice and the cutlery was scraped off the plates between courses and put back on the table for the next course.staff were most unpleasant.The entrance to this so called hotel had a dangerous little ramp to one side of steps and was then blocked with mobility scooters, a serious health and safety issue. I would not recommend this place to anyone ,They should be ashamed taking peoples money and not providing the services that people pay for.

This is a small hotel but full of everlasting grace and staff that are amazing
From the start of our trip to checking out it was a warm and friendly atmosphere. This hotel is the most central to the grotto and surrounded by all shopping amenities
This is our second time to stay in this hotel and we will definitely be returning at a later time
Thank you to all the kind hearted staff there.
It really made our trip memorable

The hotel is very good, but the most impressive part is the people managing it: very kind with great hospitality. Breakfast is not so impressive as basic, but this was not a problem.
Rooms are good size. The location is perfect because you can go in all important places and go back to rest a bit before restarting again: very important.
