The location is excellent if you have children.Less then 5 minutes walk to a good clean beach and seafront shops and arcades.good quality take away food places including KFC and pound bakery all within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. We were able to check out of the room at 11am instead of 10am,and there was a room where we could put our luggage so we could make the most of our last day without having to carry all our luggage with us.We paid £77 for 2 adults and 1 child for 2 nights, compared to other hotels in the same area and the fact that you shouldn't need to spend most of your time in the room we thought it was good value for money.
There was a couple of issues with the room, the manager was understanding but was unable to provide a solution. The Wi-Fi is very poor and the television had no signal.
Good location.
Good value for money as a 2 star hotel.
Ground floor room was nice and cool during 28-30° temperatures outside.
Staff were really nice.
Room felt a little damp.
The bathroom sometimes smelled bad.
Could do with space to hang clothes.
People out front til 3am talking
It was cheap
No drinking water facility
Staff were lovely down to earth and really friendly / helpful comfy bed.
Not ensuite very tired decor. But what do you want for £20.
Nothing
Different hotel to what we booked no private bathroom was shared did book a private bathroom not clean holes in the wall food in the bed no TV plug hanging off the kettle the host just said they are on a budget no hot water only stayed the one night booked four had to pay out for another hotel
The hotel wasn't actually open it was closed and me and other guests got told to go to a different Hotel
The other hotel that mean the guests went to because the original was shut was it not good as I've left in the photos + had the police out due to antisocial behaviour in the hotel
No estuve en el alojamiento me enviaron a otro sitio
Al alojamiento que enviaron estaba muy sucio el cuarto mucho polvo en las camas y en la carpeta parecía que no la limpiaban
Absolutely nothing ,only to be everywhere simply bcz of lack of communication to clients,if it was that we didn't call them ,no one knows what gonna happen next ,how can they mention "fully booked" after a 2 week booking before the day ,only to kno on arrival, besides looking at the place it needs renovation first before that building collapse with clients in ,I wouldn't stay in there with it's outside looks it simply shows nothing better inside, disappointed though the staff helped us last minute only to refere us to another dirtiest hotel which I refused staying in then the last one which one better for humans ,wasn't happy at all , thanks 👍
poor communication with management which caused us roaming around like chicken with no head last minute, which there were supposed to do before the booked day but never got in touch 😔
I really enjoyed my stay at the driftwood hotel because the rooms was a decent size and I had my own bathroom and the staff was really understanding and respectful .
Nothing
