Great hotel and staff. Will visit again
Pros:

Located between central pier and south shore, very close to tram stop. Lots of entertainment. Food lovely. Staff very friendly. Rooms are a decent size with good beds.

Cons:

Check in at 4 and check out at 10.30.

A great hotel we will be back but will not request a sea view room next time.

Cons:

A nice enough small room up on the 3rd floor. Had problems in the bathroom. The floor covering didn't fit. It looks like it's been taken up and put back, with gaps all around, and it was not very professional. The hot and cold taps she couldn't turn off. They were running all the time. Apart from that, the room was adequate. Celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary, they rang up to see if we wanted to pay for champagne in the room. If we'd been in Spain, that would have been supplied free of charge. The difference between Spain and England is culpable.

Girls night
Pros:

Location to the beach & the winter gardens as a show was the reason we were there, breakfast coffee was lovely, as was the breakfast, attentive staff.

Cons:

The amount of people waiting to be served breakfast, all stood in a line, like a school dinner qué, to be told there were items from the ass no longer available, this was at 9.30am when breakfast ended at 10.00am, I did feel for the staff, all very busy and run ragged at breakfast time.
