Pas satisfait de l'enregistrement, par contre le service était impeccable, le personnel disponible.
Internet ist sehr schlecht ,Essen geht so,Sauberkeit geht so. Ich würde das Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen.
Please, please don't go to the Gestone Hotel. It's awful and not only that, no one seems to give a damn one way or the other whether you like it or not. The cupboards break apart (no, not figuratively or literally), the airconditioning is sub-standard, the food (only ate breakfast) is not good ... and the management is awful. Take one evening when there was a band playing around the pooldeck (which the rooms overlook, meaning that any noise, let alone the noise of a band at full volume). As we were up for a 6am start the next morning, I checked what time the last song would be played and was assured it would be around 10pm. 10pm came and went, midnight came and went, as did 1am, 2am, 3am and finally at 4am it stopped. I complained to the Manager ... only drawback was that he was leading the drunken charge at the pool and was too inebriated to be considered even vaguely capable of throwing together a cohesive sentence. Not in a good location, expensive and dirty and not at all maintained (we had a bath crack, cold water which stopped flowing when it even mildly warmed up, the list goes on). So, in case I didn't make my point clearly, DON'T GO TO THE GESTONE, there are plenty of other places to stay.
So am here now for a week on business. If you don't speak french you will be lost as the staff have little or no English language skills. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is quite miserable, get there early as they don't stock up and towards the end there is not a lot to choose. My nightmare is the coffee..... It's either Nescafe instant or some coloured tap water I don't think whoever makes it has ever tasted it :) The internet can be erratic to nothing but to be expected in Africa. Buy a local SIM Card with a mobile router is your best bet. Pricewise very expensive for what you receive and prices are 5 star for a 3 star experience. When ordering anything always check twice as most orders are going to be wrong whether in French or English. But all in all this is Africa.
Really not eligible for four star ranking. They just don't serve you even water when you reach hotel. No complementary small water bottle for the room. You cannot make tea or coffee in the room as you are not having drinking water for it.
Bathroom accessories were really in bad shape.
Water was leaking from AC.
No much choice in breakfast.
No lift in hotel.
Overall bad experience.
This hotel cannot even be classified as a 3 star hotel, let alone 4. The staff are pleasant and do try but they need more training. English is hardly spoken. The rooms have no shower gel/shower cap. No mini bar but an empty fridge which you must remember to plug. A cup and saucer in each room but no kettle. Breakfast is miserable - no cereal, an ineffective toaster and you are in danger of running out of yoghurts and freshly cut up fruit if you arrive by 08.30. This in a country that offers amazing tropical fruit. The safety deposit box is a struggle to the point where you give up. The hotel does have an outside swimming pool and it is fairly centrally located. There is a discotheque and you risk being kept awake if you are on the same side. The air-conditioning in the restaurant and the main hall is not constant. The rooms are cleaned adequately. Wi-fi in main hall only, not in rooms. There are no lifts. The hotel needs to invest in itself, staff and facilities. As it stands now, classifying it as a 4 star (booking.com) is seriously misleading.
