Pros:

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. We loved the look of the building and the story behind it. The location is perfect as well. The breakfast was also delicious. Highly recommend for those who don’t like a commercialised hotel chain.

Pros:

We will return!
Pros:

Stunning building that has been turned into a beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious, high quality furniture, thoughtful touches and very practical.
We opted for the Brownells room as it was ground floor and had railings in the bathroom (I was staying after an operation at the nearby hospital) and it was perfect. The bathroom was still modern and stylish even with the support rails.
The staff were attentive, and the breakfast was amazing.
You feel far from anywhere despite such a central location.
I wish I had been well enough to walk around the grounds and enjoy the full beauty of the place, but we will absolutely be back on a leisure visit soon to enjoy.

Pros:

History, ambiance, fantastic staff, excellent food, sitting out on the balcony with a Pinot enjoying the view of the garden and beyond. Art work beautiful, feeling very welcome (love the tinkling of the bell as you walk through the front door) and being able to explore the stunning mansion. I could go on and on!

Cons:

A stunning heritage property if you're craving something bespoke
Pros:

A lovely heritage property in North Hobart that was a great chance of scenery. Stunningly presented and whisper quiet. Plenty of space and the offer of enjoying the lounge area in addition to the room was a treat.

Cons:

Room was lovely but being an accessible room, the bathroom was suboptimal for my stay. Would have appreciated the opportunity to have a window that opened as the door to the rear courtyard area was the only option to air the room out and opened to apartments adjacent.

Fabulous property. Would return
Pros:

Beautiful heritage building in a lovely suburb of Hobart

Cons:

Fantastic property. Only downside was we ended up in a disabled room and the shower sprays a lot of water around the room so was something of a danger after showers
