Lovely place, nicely decorated, excellent location and staff were lovely. Very good choice at breakfast, I would particularly recommend the pancakes
The bed was incredibly comfy, shower had great pressure, separate bath was lovely and relaxing. Staff were friendly. Full English breakfast was good quality and tasty.
Very nice room but definitely on the expensive side, however we visited on a bank holiday weekend which is why prices were higher. The pub stops serving food at 6pm on a Sunday which we did not realise after arriving at 7pm, so I'd recommend checking their kitchen times.
Great location and large. Well equipped room.
Staff were indifferent, not rude but very much gave the impression that the did not care when there was an issue.
There was no wifi available for the entire duration of our stay.
They also hosted a noisy karaoke night on the Sunday evening.
Room was lovely & comfortable with great facilities. Very clean and staff were brilliant. We had some drinks at the bar and a meal which was 10/10! We had a wonderful stay. Thankyou!
Great location, rooms and facilities were great.
Staff really helpful
Parking was hard due to limited spaces.
Some of
The Bedrooms were too hot and the radiator thermostats didn’t work
Everything
Nothing.
Location and rooms fabulous.
Untidy since last visit last year. Carpets dirty, needed a hoover up the stairs. Stood waiting at reception a good 10 mins before even being spoken despite checking in on line. Tables full of empty bottles & plates. Ran out of cutlery. Staff couldn’t cope. Breakfast ran out of milk. Coffe was Luke warm and pitiful. Toast like cardboard - you could break windows with it. Like fawlty towers.
Fantastic breakfast
The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bathroom was beautiful and the attention to detail so appreciated. Fresh milk , twinings tea and very generous portions of food.
Breakfast was delicious and loads of it .
Location perfect for walking up south side of Snowden
The staff were so great, and the whole property had such a nice vibe! If you want a really cosy pub stay, in a beautiful village, with great walks this is for you!
Our team of 4 liked everything. Our team were working on a site locally and early breakfast was organised for them. Comfortable beds and great food.
Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect.
