Great stay! (but short)
Pros:

Good and central location. Cool design of the rooms, bed was big and comfortable. I could extend my check-out time (for a fee) but it was very helpful! staff are all kind (shoutout to the woman at the morning cafe!). Great view of the city!

Cons:

pillows could be more comfortable. Noise from the adjacent room. One of my bedside lamps didn't work (but i didn't have enough time to report that and it didn't bother me that much). No mini-fridge (but I knew about it).

Great location and views, rooms pretty on website but impractical to live in.
Pros:

Views were incredible.

Cons:

Too tight. Nowhere to put luggage. Fold down desk useless for working in the room. Had to request fridge. No closet or dresser, just a bunch of hooks to hand stuff on.

Overall, super happy with our stay.
Pros:

Great bed. Great shower. Effective air conditioning. Fabulous location. Friendly and efficient staff. Lively atmosphere.

Cons:

Terrible pillows. Poor lighting for reading in bed. Funky electrical wiring. Clean but already showing wear and tear.

Pros:

Fabulous location - comfy beds - lovely helpful staff

Cons:

Room was a little small - we didn’t mind the wall pegs as a wardrobe but very little space around the bed but we were out and about most of the days so not really an issue

Incredible views, fantastic vibe & worth every penny!
Pros:

This hotel is the best place I have ever stayed! The views are out of this world!! Worth paying extra to have a high floor with a city view.
Everything is trendy, cool, original and so pleasing to experience, ranging from the glass wall to the power shower to the yummy cafe next door. Friendly staff and fantastic central location.
Be sure to check if you've already paid the tax in your booking, so that you don't get charged twice.

Very clean, great location and amazing views

Loved the views, the bed was very comfortable, the cleanliness of the room, easy check in, late checkout, good tv cable, the smells around the hotel

Cons:

the automatic air conditioner system shut off to fast and a mini fridge can be a super plus

Great place, bad practices
Pros:

Location is great, close to Penn Station and on a nice street, it smells amazing during the day when all the flower shops have their flowers and plants out in the street. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room, albeit small, neatly organized and clean. Great views. Free coffee available in the morning. Nice, helpful staff.

Cons:

The dubious practices with charging destination fee of 35 USD per room per night (one can use 20 USD in the coffeehouse, bar or restaurant). A smoking fee was also added to our invoice out of the blue on the second day of our stay - while we do not even smoke, this felt like a very scammy practice. The hotel put multiple authorization charges on our cards throughout the stay, some of them are still not released - a week after departure. Although some of the authorization charges and issue with the smoking fee were resolved after speaking to staff on-site who was very helpful and apologetic, this affected the general perception and experience with the hotel, hence the low overall rating.
