Moxy NYC Chelsea

The hotel was great but the air conditioner kept breaking in our toom. Our room was 78-80 degrees all the time. They came 4 times to fix but it never worked. They did not offer us another room. The room is beautiful, but so hot it was gross.

Staycation is the city…Chelsea neighborhood! Streets filled with flowers, delicious eats, rooftop bars and the Moxy brings it all together for you to experience the best of the city. Rooms super mod, comfortable bed, rain shower and a view of the Empire State. Subway accessible. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I would recommend highly recommend and would visit again myself.

The location of Moxie is super convenient, and all the room was very small. It was brilliantly efficient. Perfect for one person. The facility has a couple of options for dining and drinks, unfortunately two of the three are only open a few days a week. But beautiful property really well done great location. Super friendly staff and nice and clean.

As ex-New Yorkres, we come to NYC from Boston often via train for weekends and we stayed in multiple different places over the last couple of years, However, Moxy Chelsea has been the best so far. Excellent central location, very clean and versatile rooms. It's impressive to see what can be fitted in a small size room like this. We had everything we needed. You can see the Marriott Bonvoy quality reflected on this Moxy hotel. Also, they made our anniversary very special with room upgrades and surprise decorations. Daily spending credit is a bonus too!

Great hotel and great location ! Very clean and comfortable! The rooftop bar is amazing with a great view! Short wait time for elevators . The rooms are very small , and I do wish there had been a mini fridge , but the credit next door and free coffee was a nice option . Staff were very professional and helpful . Check in was smooth , and storage of bags was efficient. Loved having a mini clothes steamer . My room was missing a hairdryer , but the housekeeping staff brought one immediately. Diana and Shanice at front desk were especially friendly and helpful . Live this street and location , and we will definitely book again !

The girls had a great stay at Moxy NYC Chelsea for my daughter’s 26th birthday! The location was fantastic—convenient and easy for getting around the city. The view was amazing. The room was about what you’d expect for NYC: compact, with an especially small bathroom that didn’t offer much privacy for four friends sharing a room.

That said, what really stood out was the staff. They knew it was a birthday trip and went out of their way to make my daughter feel special, which I truly appreciated. The girls had an absolute blast, and that’s ultimately what mattered most. I’d definitely recommend the Moxy Chelsea for a fun NYC getaway, especially if location and atmosphere are priorities.

The property had beautiful views. Friendly staff. Absolutely loved the $20 credit a day to use on coffee or food/drinks. You also get tickets to either a Statue of Liberty tour or museum.

The views, the rooftop bar, location - excellent value for money. Staff were incredibly helpful. The added extras like pastries and coffee from the coffee shop downstairs. Tickets to a cruise, discounts at various attractions around the city. Subway access within 2 minutes walk, restaurants and eateries too numerous to mention all. However, the views were outstanding and take top prize. We booked a King with a view and could see Lady Liberty in the distance. We loved every second minute of our stay. Moxy Chelsea is undoubtedly our hotel of choice going forward.

Highly recommend Moxy in Chelsea. Great price, location, food, drinks and views. Definitely will be returning.

I had a really disappointing experience at MOXY. After the room was cleaned, I noticed that my Louis Vuitton perfume was missing from my room. I immediately raised the issue, but the front desk did not provide the level of support I expected, and the situation was not properly addressed.

Someone entering my room and taking my personal belongings is completely unacceptable. I stayed at a hotel expecting basic security and respect for my property.

I’m sharing this so people are aware and take extra care with their valuables if they choose to stay here. For me, this experience has completely changed my view of MOXY, and I don’t think I’ll be staying here again.
