I reserved a room with concierge lounge access but did not receive a key to have me access the lounge.
I need to be compensated. No trash can in my room as well as bath towels. I had to call for towels 4 times

The Check in times, the communication from the hotel about early check in and compassion towards my partner who was tired, jetlagged and totally ignored for 4 hours. Only to be told afterwards that he was checked in earlier on the system but no one was notified.
We stayed at the Accra Marriott Hotel for 5 nights and we had a pleasant stay. The hotel’s proximity to the airport and the mall makes it highly convenient. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was also great, with various local and continental dishes. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Marvellous, Patrick, Jessica, Faustina and Celine Dion, who all work at the restaurant. Also, Mr Emmanuel, the porter is a great man, always has a welcoming smile on his face.
Overall, the stay was absolutely lovely!
Where do I even begin with my review of this hotel? One of the things I appreciate most when traveling is staying somewhere that treats all guests equally, without regard to status—and this hotel truly delivered on that.
My best friend and I spent 10 wonderful days here, and from start to finish, every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. At check-in, we were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade and invited to relax at the bar while our room was prepared. Although the hotel itself is a bit dated, the rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, which is what matters most.
The Marriott staff as a whole was outstanding, but a few individuals truly went above and beyond and deserve special recognition:
Jacqueline – Hands down the best receptionist. Warm, professional, and incredibly helpful.
Celine Dion – Breakfast hostess extraordinaire who always made sure my favorite table (Table 17!) was ready for me.
Princess Sam – Answered all of my questions and ensured I was fully prepared for my arrival in this beautiful country.
Johana & Olivia – Dining room hosts who consistently reserved my favorite table and made sure my meal requests were prepared exactly how I like them.
Felix – An amazing breakfast chef.
David – An excellent bartender who knew my drink before I even asked.
Peniel – Exceptional customer service; truly went above and beyond and saved the day.
While our experience was overwhelmingly positive, there were a couple of minor areas for improvement. Housekeeping was inconsistent at first, particularly with providing sufficient towels for two adults, despite multiple requests through the app, front desk, and in person. However, once Peniel stepped in, she promptly resolved the issue by moving us to another room where everything was perfect for the remainder of our stay—an example of excellent service recovery.
Additionally, guests who prefer walk-in showers should note that these are typically available in king rooms or handicap-accessible rooms, so it’s best to request this in advance. A small tip as well: if your robe comes with a belt loop, hang on to it—we noticed they’re not always available.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Not only would I absolutely stay here again, but I would confidently recommend it to fellow Marriott members and travelers alike. Exceptional staff, genuine hospitality, and a memorable stay all around. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
