Phuong Nam Hotel has a great location — it’s very convenient and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and several Sapa attractions. The staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. However, the room itself could use some updating. The furniture and facilities feel a bit worn out, and a refresh would definitely make the stay more comfortable. Overall, it’s a decent place if you’re mainly looking for a good location and basic accommodation.

We stayed there for 3 nights. Location was very convenient. Breakfast was included in our price which made it a great value. The buffet choices were awesome. Minor issue with the toilet flush was promptly rectified. Unfortunately, due to the rains and fog during our stay, the mountain view visibility was zero. Otherwise, we'd stay there again if we visit Sapa next time.

We arrived early in the morning. The guy at front desk ( sorry did not get your name) was awesome, he helped me about extending another night. He showed us where we can leave our luggages. The breakfast was buffet and really good. They have Phò in breakfast huffet. Will definitely come back.
Hotel was great! Lots of local eateries around and things to see! We had to extend our stay 2 nights and staff were very accommodating.
The room was exactly as advertised, looking out at the mountains. Spectacular view.

Very nice and clean hotel. Front desk staff helped us get a taxi to go to the bus terminal Hanoi. She even called Interbus Line to ensure they will wait for us.

Room was good although had a few signs of wear and tear. Staff were awesome and breakfast was great! Laundry service was super fast! Great deal!
Vi ankom til vores værelse som var åbent ud til udenfor, dvs værelset var omkring 10 grader uden mulighed for at lukke af fuldstændig til udenfor. Der var altså hele tiden omkring 10-13 grader. Da vi efter en lang dag med trek ville tage et varmt bad for at få varmen igen er vandet iskoldt. De forsøger at fikse det og siger det er fikset. Der kommer ikke varmt vand vandet er isvand. Da vi påtaler dette igen bliver vi rykket til et nyt værelse hvor der er lukket af ud til og varmt vand. Det var sødt af dem.
Excellent location. View from the balcony and top floor amazing. Rooms need a bit of love (paint not redone, scuff on the walls, worn out trimmings. Spa advertised not available.
Breakfast is one of the best we have had in Vietnam. Staff not very attentive and welcoming.

La vue depuis les chambres est superbe ! La salle de bain est bien équipée même s'il manque une petite serviette pour les mains. Le petit déjeuner buffet est très varié avec une excellente soupe de nouilles.
Great location, seconds to main streets in town, and good for everything, good views of mountains, staff polite and helpful, rooms kept very clean.
Only down side, both the rainfall and normal shower leaked and sprayed water everywhere, but for the price I couldn’t complain, bed was very comfy but could do with better pillows
