THERE WAS NOTHING TO NOT LIKE

Due to the construction, wasn’t able to nap in the day time. That was the only issue

Leaking sink in bathroom meant the floor was constantly wet. The apartment was not very clean and the main floor was very dirty. The owner did not mention construction work across the road until AFTER we booked (non-refundable) - and we booked six months before our stay, so we thought we would be OK. The owner said the noise is intermittent and does not last the whole day, but it was horrendous and lasted all day from 7.30am to 9pm (except the Sunday). This has obviously been happening for six months and - looking at the construction site from our balcony (see the photo)- it will continue for many more months. The owner refused any compensation - they should be charging much less while this noise continues.

Smelly room - totally cramped for space, unkempt facility , promised a dryer but didn’t get one. Dirty towels and linens. Toilet right next to washer.

Soundproofing could be better

Communication was terrible apart from the one mentioned
HK accessed my room even though I asked not to, something stained my sheets all the sudden so it made it worse
Then I asked to do the bed myself as I didn't want the staff to keep entering my room and even though I was waiting for ages to get the sheets , the HK entered my room once again without my permission.

I was carrying very expensive leaves that I had in my room and they binned them so that not only made me lose money but also messed up with my whole trip around Asia not having them

Super dusty on high surfaces and cleaning had to be prompted after toilet tissue and paper towels were put in the room (as the cleaning).

There was construction nearby and it was 6 days a week from 8am -6pm. If your room was located on the side where the construction was taking place, then the noise level could have been high.
The 1st room we were allocated to had ant like insects all over. The staff always reacted to our complaint and sprayed some poison but these only lasted for a few hours and the insects returned. Luckily the staff found us another room at no extra charge and we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay.

Steep ramp for wheelchair access. Step in hallway hard for wheelchair.
Bed too hard.
Airconditioning would not blow at warmer than frozen.
Noisy construction site over the road.
Not serviced at all during a one week stay.
No towel renewal at all.
No wash and dry facility for kitchenette.

Our room was INCREDIBLY NOISY, directly facing a huge construction site with constant drilling from 8.30am to 7pm every day, which made it impossible to be in the room during those hours.
Our towels were completely dirty with stains and marks (although the staff changed them immediately once we complained).

Well, it was not initially mentioned (before the booking made) that it was about 50m far away from a very loud construction site. In the hotel confirmation it was still mentioned; however, it was not a real problem for us, we very most of the time outside and the booking was made with a relaxed cancellation policy, so one could have cancelled and booked something else. Was also surprised that the windows were not well sealed - but the air conditioning was still highly effective in cooling.
